Bought this to listen to cd's in comfort. Having consigned my vast collection of cds to my office/study upstairs and no longer having a CD player in the car I needed a player in our bedroom where I could listen and read in comfort. This unit does the job whilst also offering playback on Bluetooth and a quality dab radio to boot. It even doubles as an alarm clock radio- although it is a bit big for a bedside cabinet. The unit is great value for money and very easy to set up and use out the box.Sound quality is good and dab radio is excellent. I have however been most surprised with the 3year warranty and the level of support from Azatom. I had a minor issue with the CD player - registered the warranty and emailed them and I was contacted directly the next day. Problem was resolved over the phone and I found the help courteous and professional. Great service great product and a warranty you can trust - what's not to like.

Bought this for my 8 year old girl who broke her top loading cd player.....Really quick to set up and easy to use (for an adult)....took a bit of getting used to by my daughter but she loves it.....great looking mix of modern and retro styles...altogether a nice bit of kit....organising the extended warranty was a bit of a hassle as the web link didn't work and neither did the email service but a quick phone call sorted it all out...all in, I am very impressed so far

Bought this primarily to play cds in our home office and it's excellent for that. I confess that I was sceptical about the rave reviews given for sound quality by some reviewers but I have to say they were right, it is excellent. The unit has a solid feel and looks very smart. The remote is fine and I find the system very responsive to the buttons. The radio however is average. I can get a few digital stations and virtually none on FM. My wife's radio downstairs and the car outside are fine so it must be the unit. Moving it makes only marginal difference, maybe if I put it outside....? Since I bought it principally for the cd player that doesn't bother me much but had I bought it for the radio it would be returned by now. The manual is also very poor. It is 20 odd pages but it would easily fit on one side of A4. OK its only a CD/radio, not the space shuttle, but if you are the sort of person who likes to read the manual to become fully acquainted with your new purchase...forget it. I also find that what there is of it is confusingly written and I would say I was reasonably technically competent. Overall though, and especially for the money, its good for my purposes and I'm happy with it.

Having bought am Azatom radio previously, I decided to go for this for all my music needs - radio, CD and connecting my iPod. I am absolutely delighted with it. Just plugged it in and the clock set itself, DAB radio stations self scanned and using the presets to store favourite stations was a breeze. The sound quality from the speakers is really good. Crisp and clear with adjustable bass and treble. Same for playing CDs and my iPod - all the little nuances in the music, whether it's pop, rock, dance, classical etc are all there. The compact size of the unit makes it easy to move around too. It looks good and sounds good. For those who sound quality is very important, this unit packs a mighty punch and I am so glad I chose to buy this. A great item at a great price. You even get a 3 year warranty when you register the product online. Superb!

Nice radio, FM perfect, DAB rubbish quality, but then again i always thought DAB was over-rated and spotty in quality. Sound quality seems good, i have it my bedroom so dont really play it loud. CD is great as you can use MP3 discs so can play loads of songs without swapping discs all the time, the same goes for the USB. I got rid of Music Unlimited as was sick of the price rises (to give me a better service, yea right ha) so this is paying for itself. Havnt tried it yet but thinking of connecting phone and using free internet service. So far its all win win.

Does the job. Works well and sounds good.Display is quite small but adequate for job.Overall good value for money.

Great looking system and radio sounded good, but will never be buying a product from this company again. The item (despatched direct from the company not Amazon) arrived minus any interior packaging, had pre-programmed radio stations, seems to have a cd jammed inside it and the handset doesn't work. Other reviews within last few weeks mention that identical items have been because the CD is jammed and handset inoperable. It is obvious that this item is one that has already been returned previously because of faults and has simply been shipped out again. Either that or the product clearly has consistent build quality issues. The company clearly doesn't care about its customers. Refund requested and will be avoiding this companies products in future

Hi. Just wanted to share with you that this Dab radio and CD player is very very good. i would recommend it to anyone, very good price for the product, good sound and easy to operate and I am more than pleased with it. However I did have trouble taking up their 3 year warranty on the internet which is included in your paperwork inside the box,, so called their customer services who were excellent and sorted the warranty out for me within a very short time. So it is not necessary to take the offer of the 3 year insurance that costs £9.09 where the goods are advertised..
