Better then regular tub!
My then 9 mo old was getting too big for the sink (yep..we washed her in our kitchen sink) but I didn't like the idea of her going into a huge tub. I was debating on which inflatable tub to get and finally decided on this. The major factor for my decision being the size of the tub, the duration of use, and prime shipping!Make sure you read over the dimensions of the tub prior to purchase. My tub is a bit smaller then others, so I had to make sure the Snug Tub would fit. My 9 mo old daughter was able to sit well, so giving her a bath in the Snug Tub was no problem and there was plenty of room. My daughter is now 1 year old and about 31 inches and she still sits in tub with her legs stretched out. There's still a lot of room for her to grow so I'm hoping we can use this tub for a while! She does stands up quite frequently in the tub BUT, thank god, hasn't slipped yet. We discourage her from doing so, but what can you do? Not much. We just monitor her constantly while giving her a bath.I love the fact that there is a suction on the bottom of the tub so you can suction the tub to your bathroom wall after each use to dry. And if you have a hand pump, use it to inflate the tub or you'll be out of breath pretty quick! So far, the tub has held up as we have yet to re-inflate it.One negative comment is that the bottom of the tub is supposed to inflate to give more cushion, but it kept deflating no matter how much air we pumped into it. We now just use it as is. Not a huge concern for us because I still love the Snug Tub. Less water wasted, easy clean up, and a happy clean baby!

This tub is perfect for his size and he can wiggle and move ...
This tub was a life saver. I have had a very active baby who even at 6 months old wanted to sit up, crawl around, and kick his feet up in the hard infant tub I previously had. It was very hard to hold him down because at such a young age he was very long and already too big for a tub meant for "toddlers" (30 inches). This tub is perfect for his size and he can wiggle and move all around and not get hurt because of the cushioning from it being a blow up. My only gripe is that it is just a bit too wide for my tub which is a normal sized tub. I can squish it down to fit but it is hard to get it close enough to the faucet to fill up. I love that it has a suction cup even.

Deflated After 3 Nights
We bought this tub for a 9 week trip with our 4 month old who hasn't gotten the hang of sitting up on her own yet, so the smaller tub would help hold her up. There are two separate air pockets, the main structure and the bottom anti-slip tubes can be inflated as well. The first two nights, it worked *perfectly*, and I was very proud of my purchase. It took a couple of minutes to inflate, but nothing more than an ordinary pool toy. We used it on the kitchen counter as there is no bathtub (reason for purchasing as well). Obviously, when filled it's heavy and hard to manage since it's not a firm structure.*THEN* by the 3rd night, it became evident that it was leaking air. We're on the 6th night of using it, and it's on the decline. Since the 4th use, we have to re-inflate it every night to give it the needed tension--it lasts adequately at this stage through her 5-10 minute bath. I'm expecting needing to throw it out within a week or two.

Grandbaby loves it!
Son and DIL don't have a bathtub - only a shower. This tub is perfect for our 14 month old grandbaby. There is a plug in it that makes it easy to empty, and a suction cup at one end to hang it up. DIL leans it up agsinst the shower wall because several reviews said it will eventually leak where the suction cup pulls on the plastic when it is hung up. It is inexpensive, has a cute design and is easy to inflate. DIL and grandbaby love it!Update: April 4th, 2016: As other reviews reported, the area around the suction cup is weak and finally gave way, causing it to lose air.. However, it has worked well for DIL and granddaughter the past year and I am ordering a replacement. Hey, it's cheap, what do you expect? The up side is that the drain is in a perfect spot to fit over the shower drain, and the size is perfect for a 2 year old. All, in all, given that it is used almost every day, it's amazing it's lasted this long.

Best bath ever!
My son grew out of his infant tub at 5 months. It was hard plastic and he would slide around in it and I was always worried he would bump his head. When I decided to buy him a new bath I looked through all the options and read all the reviews, and decided on this snug tub. We love it! I slightly under-inflate it so it fits better in our tub, and my son leans back on the "foot" end instead of the "head" end because it's lower. I imagine he'll grow into the other side in a couple of months. The sides of the tub are nicely padded and the bottom is padded with ridges that are non-slippery. He loves to lay back and float and kick his legs in the water. There is a generous amount of space in the tub. My son has been sleeping better through the night since I started bathing him at bedtime in this tub. It's just a well-designed, relaxing tub. And the best part is the suction cup so that you can hang it on the wall when you're not using it! The other tub was always in the way. And the price is way cheaper than the other tubs. We just love the snug tub!

this tub smelled terrible when I opened the package
Wow, this tub smelled terrible when I opened the package! It was a combination of the main material and the screenprint film. It made my head spin. I called Kel-Gar (the manufacturer) directly to find out more about the material, which I suspected was PVC, but assumed would have to be phthalate free in order to pass CPSIA standards. It is in fact CPSIA compliant, but I chose to return it as I didn't feel 100% comfortable due to the odor. I will get the Munchkin duck tub instead. We currently have that one and I was hoping to get something a little bigger, but I know that didn't have the same odor issue.
