Healthy and Tastes Good!
I have a 7 month old, exclusively breast fed, baby that has not taken to solids very well. So, I was in search of an alternate source of vitamins including iron and D3. There are a variety of multivitamins out there for infants, but I was discouraged by all the bad reviews on the Enfamil brands and others, stating that they caused constipation and gassiness. NutriStart has it all; nutrition, flavor, and easily digestible. My LO loves this stuff! I tasted it myself and it does have a mild sweetness from the fruit sugar fructose so it masks the nasty iron taste that most other vitamins have. What I like the best is that this product has fruit enzymes in it that help my LO digest it well without the common side affects from the vitamins. She's been taking it once daily for a couple weeks now and has only had mild gas on and off that might not necessarily be caused by this and its not bothering her.Being a powder, it's easily mixed on its own as a paste, or can be mixed into cereal (my LO of course takes it straight because she hates rice cereal). The only negative questionable review this product received was that it does not dissolve well. These people must be really impatient, because although initially the powder does not immediately mix, giving it 1 minute of stirring will blend it into the milk, water or cereal nicely without any lumps.I am so glad to have found such a well balanced vitamin for my LO that she loves to take!

Great vitamins for baby - best in the market
These are simply great. They are pricey but there aren't a lot of choices out there. I did a lot of research before purchasing these because of the price, mainly, and could not really find anything better, although I think I will try the Honest ones. I took the pre-natal pills from this brand and they were just perfect, so I thought I would just give these a try for baby. I had tried another liquid brand but the experience was a total failure, the baby didn't like it, he even vomited the day he took them (probably the iron) and don't get me started on the iron stains. I was so happy to see these don't taste like anything at all and I am able to sneak it into the baby's food without any problem (the only thing is that they should not be served in anything hot, so I just pour it on the food at halfway feeding, when the food is already cool). They have also lasted for a somewhat longtime because you only need half a package for a baby under 12 months. And talking about half a packet, it is kind of hard to come to terms with what is half, so a little practice is needed before you get it right. I will continue to use before the 12 months and hopefully by then my baby will be able to eat the other gummy ones which are more reasonably priced.

Contains what I want it to, doesn't contain what we want to avoid, quality product
I used with until 4 years of age with my first child and have started my second child on it now that she's 1 and not getting formula. I really like what this product has in it in terms of which vitamins and minerals and how much of each. Probiotics are also a plus. Most importantly, I like what this does NOT contain--artificial colors, etc. Compare this to gummies or chewables in that regard. Yikes!I tried mixing with liquids but as other reviewers note, it doesn't completely dissolve. I mix it with yogurt but it can also easily go in things like applesauce. Easy and no issues with the kids rejecting it or showing any adverse effects. Love the powder form.I personally also take a Rainbow Light multivitamin and I like the company's products a lot--except for the options after this powder. This powder offers what's needed until about 4 years of age (guess it can be used after that, but it's formulated for up to 4). After that there are the chewables. Those I have not used because unfortunately, they do not contain enough iron, zinc and magnesium for our needs. Vitamins A and C are easy to get in the diet. The product has enough Bs. I'm not sure why they don't have more iron, zinc and magnesium like this powder does.

Great immune booster!
I probably have the worlds pickiest eater! My 1.5 year old pretty much refuses to eat anything but cheese, meatballs, and grapes. I can not get a vegetable into her mouth to save my life! So when I found these I was ecstatic! I warm her a bottle at night before bed and slip the vitamin powder in there and she has no clue.It does change the flavor a tiny bit, but not for the worse. Not for the better either, it still tastes like milk with a little extra sweetness to it. She has never refused it.Since I've been giving these to her regularly she's stopped getting sick as much so I know they are helping her immune system.Recently the flu bug went around her daycare, even the kids that had gotten the flu shot were getting the flu. My kid was one of the only ones that stayed flu free. I was amazed because before this she would get EVERYTHING that any other kid had.I'm a believer for sure!

Good for mixing in with applesauce, bad for mixing in with milk
Instead of having to measure it out ourselves to give to our 13 month old, this multivitamin already comes in packets with individual portions. This is the main perk to this particular product. It makes it easy on us parents, and takes out the trouble of having to fiddle with the measuring spoon. However, because it is powder-form, it does not dissolve well with liquid, even after putting in a few minutes of whisking, it will still clump up. You will have to mix this in with yogurt, applesauce, or some kind of food along that sort. I have personally found that applesauce has been the best base for this vitamin.Would I recommend this product? Depends. If you are the parent who likes to mix the vitamin in with the milk, I would not recommend this product. If you are looking for a vitamin that is easy and don't mind mixing it in with food, then this is for you.
