These Pans Are Amazing! For Once, A TRULY Non-Stick Pan!
I received these pans the other day, and absolutely love them! I've always been a bit leery about pan that utilize Teflon, but after doing my homework, I was comfortable buying these pans (if you use Teflon safe utensils when using the pans, you won't damage the surface. And Teflon will NOT begin breaking down for 3 - 5 years, if you take good care of your pans! And you would easily be able to tell!). I also bought some utensils that were safe to use with Teflon pans (you don't want to use metal utensils, or anything that could mar the surface of the pan). Also, you don't want to scrub the pans / use abrasive cleansers. Instead, use paper towels, soft sponges, or soft cloth, with soap and water to clean the pans. Given the non-stick surface, the pans come clean really easily! My first use of the pan was cooking a cheese omelet. I used a tablespoon of ghee, and made a 4 egg omelet. The cheese oozed out during cooking, and still, the omelet slid right out of the pan, onto my plate! I also tried frying 3 eggs in the pan with no oil whatsoever! I simply cooked the fried eggs - easy over - in the dry pan. Again, the eggs slid right out of the pan, onto my plate! I have also done scrambled eggs in the pans with no oil. Nothing stuck to the pan, and the eggs were simple to get out of the pan. Clean-up was easy, and the pan surface looked like new, afterward. The pans are also beautiful, and very well built. I know these are great quality. And if you compare the price point of the All Clad D3 pans (mine was a set with an 8" and a 10" pan), with other, comparable non-stick pans, these pans are a great deal. I truly love this purchase. Hope this helps anyone looking for some great, non-stick pans.

Great pans
All-Clad makes great pans; performance, quality, durability, comfort, and appearance. And these non-stick pans are another example. I've had the same pan (10") for over 20 years. It was still in good shape, although the surface showed scrapes (no real scratches) and while still non-stick, it of course wasn't quite as good as it was when new. I didn't use it every day, didn't super-heat it, and used nylon utensils. Since non-sticks should be replaced about every 5 years or so, I figure I got my money out of it. The new pan is almost exactly the same, albeit it seems a bit lighter. It already has a light scrape, but even with plastic tools, that's hard to avoid and it doesn't affect the performance much if at all. So far, no peeling whatsoever and if it's like my old pan, there won't be any. These are pricey, but they're gorgeous and wonderfully designed and manufactured.

The best
Worth every penny.....I finally decided to take the plunge and go with a top quality pan to use for breakfast or omelette, eggs, scrambled, ext. I wish I would have not been to worried about spending this kinda money as it’s hands down the best pan I’ve ever used for cooking breakfast to date. I have a glass GE Profile cooktop and my burners heat this pan up in no time. Once the food has been placed in the pan it cooks evenly and quickly. The best non-stick surface I’ve ever used. The food 🥘 slides out with ease. The cleanup is so easy also. I will be saving for additional All Clad cook wear in the future. I guess the old saying of you get what you pay for is still true.

Nice pan, silly handle...
I have only had this for a few weeks now and so far it performs as expected. I have a slightly larger Made-In version that this is replacing and I would say they are about the same. The only difference is as others have mentioned, the silly handle. I knew this going in based on the reviews but it is odd.

Induction Range Fry Pan
So you spent the money to buy an induction range, now you're in search of matching cookware and stumbled on this review. Well you found them ... heavy duty stainless steel non-stick "American Made" fry pans. Trust your good senses, skip the rest of the reviews, purchase them and move on. One bit of advice ... never overheat a teflon pan. (This is the root cause of 99% of all the coatings failures) While All Clad non-stick fry pans can take a bit more punishment, they too will fail if overheated which voids the warranty. Treated correctly they easily last 5 years. If you're new to induction, train yourself to never heat an empty pan higher than mid-dial. Remember a top quality induction range can boil a gallon of water in less then 3 minutes. Imagine what that can do to these expensive teflon pans! Set the the dial to max for 5 minutes with nothing in them and you just ruined them. Ouch! Perhaps some of you have already been on the 'road to ruin' with foreign made aluminum fly pans. You know the so-called induction ready ones with bonded iron bottoms. Ready to Warp ... is what they should read! Eventually they no longer make good contact with the glass surface and one become's a master at fiddling with the dial on max just to get them to start heating. If this was your indoctrination to induction ranges may I suggest the Mr. Right Tri-Ply Bonded Stainless Steel Skillet Pans till you get your bearings straight. These pans are also a good option for kids and part time husband chefs. Keep your non-stick All Clad's under lock & key. If you're still with me I suggest you stick with All Clad D3's, they are lighter weight, remain perfectly flat, and heat faster than the D5's. I had to send a D5 back because it developed a slight wobble, never happened with my D3's. Your milage may vary. To re-cap on Induction Ranges you are looking for high quality full stainless steels pans that remain perfectly flat. Non-stick choices are extremely limited here in the USA, Tribute line from Vollrath, and American Kitchen come to mind, however these pans are heavier and more industrial looking then All-Clad. Le Creuset has a nice non-stick stainless pan but they are made in China, their cast iron pans are unmatched and every serious chef should own their Dutch Ovens. Happy Hunting!

Frying pan
Very good frying but it has a spot on it that is driving my wife nuts trying to get it off

The pan was pretty good initially but like so many other pans, the non stick surface has broken down, unfortunately it lasted less than a year. Have only used plastic utensils in the pan. Over priced!

Sehr schade!

So far so good, don't cook on high and let cool and it's wipes right out.
