This is a really nice looking lamp that works well. However, there is only a floor switch. I was an idiot and did not realize this when I purchased it. Completely my fault for not reading the description or looking closely at the pictures. However, the cord is reallly short. It is hard to place in a room because of that. I thought I would just deal with it instead of returning it. This was a mistake. My toddler discovered how to turn it on and off. He's either learning morse code with it or summoning a ghost. I'm not sure which but either way the lights are blinking so much at our house we might as well be a night club. It work well and looks great, but just be aware of the floor switch with a short cord.

I rarely complain about anything. I am a mechanical engineer with product design experience. This lamp shade came flat and had to be assembled. The shade did not fit the support ring. It looked and was as cheap as possible. The tilt feature was so sloppy that it would only work in zero G. I bought a separate shade and modified it to fit the "European drum fitting". Amazon should not carry such junk.

I bought two of these and I absolutely love them! I replaced two table lamps with these so they do sit a littler taller than what I am used to but I expected that they would. If I could change one thing it would be the step on button to turn them on and off. I prefer a switch or pull chain. These sit behind end tables in my living room and so the foot switch is a little hard to get to. Several guest have asked where I purchased them and stated that they really like them. The lamps are exactly as described by the seller.

Heavy base, love the foot pedal switch. The lamp shade is a bit cheap looking but for $50 this is a great value.

Assembled in 10 minutes, no tools, no sweat. Looks great in the corner of the bedroom. Heavy base preventing tipping on the carpeted floor. Great little lamp!

Well shoot, this is the UGLIEST lampshade I have literally ever seen.. and I have a really hideous hand me down lamp from my mother that I loathe so that’s saying something. The lampshade has to be assembled which was fine, I can do that, but it turned out lumpy and the “borders” are and off-color and it just looks disgusting.

The first time I ordered this product I received the lamp and the middle doles would not screw together. It was disappointing, but what ended up surprising me was discovering a random knife in the box. I clearly received a used product. I sent it back with said knife still in the box, in hopes they read my message and do not resell a defective product again. The second time I received a very obviously new lamp. It had instructions in the box, which the other one did not and had more Styrofoam. I opened it, happy to receive the replacement lamp so quickly (3 days). I went to put it together and the same middle doles would not screw together. I want this product to be good, but it is clearly poorly made. Do not waste your time with this product.

We bought one for each side of our sofa to provide more light in the room and for adequate reading light. What we liked:-Well packaged-A snap to assemble - clever engineering, especially the shade-Great looking-The on/off button on the floor can be reached while sitting down (for us anyway)-LED bulbs included and provide just the light we wanted.There was nothing we did not like. Highly recommend.
