Kyocera DuraForce Pro 2 with Sapphire Shield E6910 Black - Verizon

Great, tough, phone. Highly recommended. Because it's so overbuilt you can pick one up used for hella cheap. Careful with the port covers though and the screen isn't actually scratch proof, just very resistant. Hardened steal can scratch it.

My wife has a tendency to destroy any phone she has. This little beaut has lasted her the longest. Additionally, the version on Android on it is simplified making it easy to use for those that are technically challenged. If you want all the bells and whistles you may want to steer away from this phone. but if you looking for one that can take a beating, this is the one.

After receiving the phone, got everything setup, had a hard time with this. Even though it was supposed to be a new verizon phone it had been set up before on an ATT network. Made me a little suspicious that this was a refurbished phone being sold as new. That night when I hooked up to charger it would not charge. Got authorization to send phone back. Mailed it back on Aug 1st and by tracking number it was received by seller on Aug 3rd. It is now Aug 23rd and still have not heard anything from seller or received credit on my card. This is the first bad experience I have had ordering anything from Amazon. Now if I ever order anything else for them it will have to be researched carefully. I would hope that Amazon would help out on this but not hearing anything from anybody.

First I would say that the product is almost certainly not "new". My order was from PrimaPhaze and fulfilled by Amazon. The product packaging was quite worn and was not shrink wrapped. There was an ICCID number along with the IMEI number on the printed label attached to the outside of the Kyocera box. There was no SIM card in the phone. There was a new SIM card loose in the Kyocera box that had "Verizon Bulk SIM" printed on it. The ICCID number on the box didn't match the SIM card in the box. The phone itself had no plastic covering the screen and was loose in the box. The accessories were there and were unopened. The phone appeared to be in good condition. I had some difficulty activating the phone because the ICCID number on the box label didn't match the SIM card that was provided. I would be very happy with the purchase if it had been advertised as used rather than new and I had paid a used product price. Kyocera's website says that the phone comes with a preinstalled SIM card. Obviously this phone's box had been opened and the phones original SIM had been activated and the seller removed the old SIM and included a new Verizon SIM in the box. So I am happy with the phone so far but unhappy with the seller. I believe that I was taken for a couple hundred extra bucks by PrimaPhaze's dishonesty.

I was hesitant to try this brand but for the same price as my previous Motorolas, it has a lot of unique features that I really like. The rest of the phone works as well as the Motorolas. I don't mind the thickness since it doesn't need a case or screen saver. I love the screen, water proof feature and home screen 'outdoors' information at my fingertips. It was also easy enough to switch over from old phone.

I ordered this for a friend who wanted it very badly. I split the cost with him so it was partly a present. I paid over$500 for a new phone for him and he worked off his share of the price. When next I spoke to him he said that it came with 6 games on it and when he checked with an expert he was told that Kyocera does not load games onto their phones which means that someone else had it before him. Refurbished. He was busy using it and had transferred all of his data so he did not want to return it or I would have returned it. Dishonesty is the Corona virus of business. I wish there were a vaccine for it.
