Screen seems ok, not as good as OEM but good replacement, tools not good at all

Screen works well. Should come with some sort of directions rather than relying on YouTube. In addition, the tools provided were terrible, the star tip stripped off completely on the first screw, had to resort to less than traditional tools. Same with the tools provided for separating the screen from the housing, after heating the adhesive the thing plastic tools provided just broke trying to separate the two pieces. The screen works and seems to be the same quality as OEM at this point.EDIT: After about a week parts of the screen required pressing multiple times to work and now today the entire left side of the screen went white and quit working. It is also providing random inputs into the device rendering it no longer usable.

Writing this on my repaired XS.Just a few issues to make you aware of:- biggest issue: DO NOT USE THE P2 PENTALOBE 5 SIDED SCREWDRIVER for the bottom 2 screws next to the charging port. As in another review, this also rounded my screws. I would suggest buying a better quality P2 pentalobe screwdriver; I had one spare from a previous screen repair that worked, but now my screws will probably need replacing.- in second picture is how the screen will arrive, without the plastic mount for the front camera. This needs to be reused from your old screen. I went to take a picture of this at the time, but it transpired that my phone was half dismantled on my desk when I reached for it...- adhesive strip provided is for an iPhone slightly smaller than an XS, as you can see in first picture. I presume this was just a packaging mistake. I didn’t end up losing it, so I better not get my phone wet, just like the old days.Other than that, really happy with the screen. If there’s no update to this, I’m happy in the long term too.

This display seemed good quality, but immediately after use, it started doing phantom presses / swipes / touches and was unusable. It had to be removed and original screen installed. Very disappointed.
