Nuby Penguin Baby Night Light, Silicone,Rechargeable, Colour Changing Touch Night Light for Kids Bedside

We use the red light as a night light in our room so it’s not too dark but dark enough for us to sleep.We drop the lamp on a hard surface to change settings rather than tapping the penguin.The battery lasts fairly well, we leave it on all night and get a couple of nights use from it.You have to be careful when plugging the charger in, if you don’t hold the base right then it pushed it into the penguin’s body and it is fiddly to get back into place.

Purchased this night light to help with night feeds with my newborn son.Really pleased with the glow from the light, needs charging daily due to constant use overnight and the colourful light will be great when my baby is older for sensory stuff.USB-C cable broke as the metal charging part sheared off so I’ve had to purchase a new cable.The tap on/off/phase is a bit temperamental but I find picking up and putting back down is better than tapping. The light itself is very cute and value for money. Also soft and I hope not easy to break!Edit: now 3 months later, the light doesn’t last all night any more after almost daily use. Charging is also temperamental. I’d recommend a USB with an angled input (like the one provided with the light) and just keeping it plugged in if you need it all night.

Lovely night light & bought as we had a nuby bunny one from years ago which is brilliant but this one doesn't last all night, hoping to use up feeding and has usually ran out of charge half way through the night

This thing is very bright. Tricky enough to catch it on the right setting. Tap once to turn on. Tap twice to start colour changing sequence. Tap three times to stop on the colour you like. You need to do that every time. So if you want just a red light, go buy a red light only nightlight as this will get annoying. We also found that it takes a gentle tap but only once in a while. In most cases its a pretty strong slap to the head for the poor creature to get it to turn on and off etc. Would be great as a nice looking thing in the corner but not for on off operations in the night. We returned ours.

It’s cute, but the battery didn’t last long when we’d bought it, we only had it on a few times back then. Also had problems finding a charger that fits into the slot. Please check out the picture, although I don’t know if all the lamps are like that, as some customers commented that they didn’t receive a Nuby branded lamp and this one is. Hope this helps someone.

My newborn baby adores his penguin, I would recommend this to my parent with an easily distracted child. Hours of fun for little ones!
