Not a fan of this design
I have 6 pair of these pants purchased three years ago, they are still perfect. This 'model' however do not have the silicon strip around the inside to secure shirts. These have easily malformed flaps with ineffective velcro upon them rather than sleek and deep pockets you slipped items into around the super strong velcro strips or by separating the velcro. This model have neither of the hidden zipper security pockets either. These are a downgrade. I purchased them for my father. The size being larger by far than the decree of the measuring tape and the obvious disregard for purpose-driven design and of course the unmitigated greed demanding cost for an item that is less in usefulness and quality than its predecessor by a third is unacceptable.5.11 makes a pant nearly identical to this (though lighter) for $20 less. Dad wants to try again, so I'm getting him another pair of these but my review of the disappointments stand and I personally am displeased with Blackhawk and the decisions of its producers.Update: Dad agrees that these are substantially less qualified to be sold than the previous style which I have. He adds that they are uncomfortable in the knees and found them to be restrictive. We initiated a return and purchased 5.11's. So long, Blackhawk.

Way too tight! Pockets are garbage
These pants are way too tight. I ordered the same 36 x 36 size that I've worn for many years in the previous Blackhawk tactical pants. I cannot crouch down or bend the knee without the pants pulling down the back creating the plumbers crack look. These pants are way too tight on the thighs and I don't have big thighs. They made the pockets smaller and reduce the number of pockets available. There used to be zipper pockets that were sort of hidden; those are all gone. The breathable mesh fabric for the pocket liners are similar to what you wouldn't have an a bathing suit. They're going to catch on every little thing that has sharp edges or whatever that you might put in your pocket.Blackhawk needs to go back to their previous lightweight tactical pants. I am extremely disappointed with this new design.

Pursuit pants are a terrible redesign of lightweight tactical pants! Sad!
I've owned and worn Blackhawk pants exclusively for the past decade. They had a perfect design that they decided to retire in the Lightweight Tactical Pants. These Pursuit Pants replace the Lightweight Tactical pants but remove almost all of the features that made the Lightweight Tactical Pants the ONLY pants I wore for the past decade (since before they changed the materials). Here's a list of the changes-These Pursuit Pants remove the zipper pocket inside each cargo pocket and they replace the double Velcro clasp with a single one in the middle which increases the likelihood things will fall out while you're sitting down. The back pockets are so shallow they're almost nonexistent when compared to the deep pockets that went almost down to the back of the knee on old Lightweight Tactical Pants. In addition to making the pockets that they kept worse they also removed the vast majority of zipper pockets on the pants. They also removed the single zipper pocket that was above the right back pocket AND the hidden zipper pocket that was behind the right hand front pocket. They also replaced the right magazine pocket with a slit and a pouch so there is no flap to keep contents in place like there is on the left magazine pouch. The only improvement is that the loop from which you can hang your keys is better reinforced. All in all Blackhawk has removed a bunch of pockets from the lightweight tactical pants and made the ones they kept much less useful. It's a real shame to see the design of such a great product take about 20 steps back. Unless Blackhawk brings back the Lightweight Tactical Pants I'll have to find another brand/model that fits my needs.Blackhawk: these rear pockets are almost unusable. I finally realize what women complain about when they don't have pockets on their pants.

Low waistline makes these uncomfortable to wear.
I have purchased Blackhawk pants before, and been very happy with them. These seem to be very well made, but the waistline is too low; compared to my other Blackhawk pants (which are different models), the waistline is nearly two inches lower; in the past they might have been called hip-huggers. As such they are quite uncomfortable, require a fairly tight belt to hold up and have to be repeatedly hitched up during normal movements.I don't know if this is just a construction variation (other brands like Wrangler Dress Jeans used to be that way; one pair in three would be perfect, others would be low waistline) or if this line of pants is specifically made this way but they just do not work.

Total Garbage. Having worn blackhawks lightweight tactical pants for years ...
Total Garbage. Having worn blackhawks lightweight tactical pants for years now and purchasing these I can honestly say that blackhawk really dropped the ball. The knee pad pockets are so big the kneed pads no longer stay in place or are useable. The wallet pocket it so small a thinly loaded well worn out mens trifold wallet won't fit. Good luck fitting a bifold. The cargo pockets have one very small piece of velcro in the center trying to contain all the contents. Iphone falls out all the time when being active. The front pockets are lined with mesh liners instead of nylon. Tore a hole in one first day with my folding knife in the pocket. I can keep going on and on. I would give a negative rating if possible.

Great Pants!!
Love these pants, plenty of pockets and very comfortable. I love the rubber strips around the inner waistband, this really helps keep the pants on the hips nicely. Although one thing I do not like is the fit on the front of the legs just above the knees seem to stick a little when moving forward or lifting your leg high, the top part of the pants just above the knees seem to slightly stick slightly and or resist to the movement of the leg in a forward and upward position....not sure what it is that creates this resistance just above the knees, maybe the shape or cut of the pant leg material??? Otherwise, pretty comfortable and very useful.
