unwinds for 5 minutes, its like a full time job. Useless, please don't waste your money!!

The mobile characters themselves are adorable and well crafted, but I was not impressed with the quality of the music box component. My son, at 3 months old, loves to stare at the mobile as it rotates around above his crib. The piece that you wind-up to create the music and spin the mobile is cheaply made and is the biggest complaint in this product. Setup was easy, but like the music box, it is constructed of cheap plastic. At one point, while winding the mobile, the bar that comes up from the crib disconnected in the middle, causing it to fall down into the crib. No injuries were sustained. For the price, I was hoping for a better quality construction of the music-box winder and the plastic pieces attaching it to the crib. I would give this mobile a 3.5 / 5, cute forest characters that are well made, failed by cheap attachment hardware.

I love the looks of this mobile! Perfect for my son's woodland themed nursery. The music box doesn't play for more than 30 seconds and then stops. My baby enjoys it while it runs for that 30 seconds, but then stops smiling when the mobile stops. I found another battery operated music box to use instead.

Like the title says, this didn't even last through one baby. The music box just stopped working. First, the amount of time it would play got shorter and shorter. Then, eventually, it stopped working entirely. Two stars because we will cut off the little stuffed animals and keep them, discarding the rest. Product is not recommended.
