So far so good. Has 3M double backing tape. Looks like the industrial strength. I haven’t used the screws. Put the magnets at the top of my gun safe and my Sig P320 full size ( without a mag loaded) and H&K VP9 ( without a mag loaded ) hold very well. Once the stick for 24 hours I’ll try a full mag. But I don’t see it being a problem. They are coated in a thick rubber that protects the gun from being scratched. The guns are hanging down from the top of the slide. Although I could see if you hit them pretty hard they would fall. But the possibility of that happening is slim to none.

Excellent purchase experience. Quick on the delivery. Easy to just place into the gun safe. Holds my mags and pistols with no concern of them detaching or sliding off the metal.

If you are planning on using the adhesives only, think again. You need the screws. If you are planning on attaching to a metal surface, then just remove the mounting plate on the back. That will expose the magnet inside and THAT will stick to the metal surface. The overall strength of the magnet is very good. It is holding my all steel pistol very well. Btw, the item is not flexible at all so won't fit a contoured surface.

These magnets are very strong I tested it with a rather heavy 2A toy and it not only held but it hardly moved even when I swung it around to try and dislodge it. I made the mistake of sticking them to my fridge temporarily and darn near couldn't get it off.. The rubber coating will help protect from scratching other metal that they come in contact with.The back has a nice sticky adhesive double sided tape that seems like it would hold well but I honestly didn't try to use that as I preferred to attach it to a stud through the 2 screw holes.If you are in need of strong magnet to hold items in place with little risk of damage these guys are your ticket. Hard to pass up at this price. Definitely go for the 2 pack.Would buy again if I need more.

Magnet is very strong but the adhesive backing is useless!! You definitely have to use the screws which I didn’t want to use in my car.

Seems to hold adhesion good. No problems with glock 17 fully loaded. Rubber coated so it won't scratch your firearm. Price is slightly higher compared to other ones but I'm a strong believer in you get what you pay for.

Hard to beat for the money. Most at this price point would be a single magnet. With these, you get two! They are quiet as strong as some others but I actually prefer that. For pistols one magnet is more than enough and when you remove it from the magnet you don't feel like you are going to take half the wall with it. For larger firearms you will need to use both but together they will have a pretty sturdy hold. They also have a nice rubbery cover that won't destroy the finish on any nicer or more valuable firearms.

Don’t buy into the “ we fixed the issue with the adhesive “ bs. I took that line serious and the adhesive will not even hold the magnet in place. I prepped the service as instructed. The magnet are well made, strong but will NOT stick with just the adhesive. This is the only reason I bought these as I can’t use hardware in this mounting application.
