Sturdy and Strong clamps
I recently replaced my coil springs and need a spring compressor. Checked out the reviews and saw good reviews. It worked great for me and made my job easy.If you don't have an impach wrench, I suggest to use a size 21 spanner to tighten / loosen these. But mind you that it would take A LOT of Time. So better get yourself that impact wrench to save your time and energy. Thanks to the seller, a very sturdy and durable product.

Rock solid
Even after reading other reviews, I was still dubious of these because of their low price and other reviewers photos of much lighter springs. However, needs must and I bought 2 pairs, so I could at least run 3 of these compressors on a spring. These things are not small. Sizeable main threads, with large securing hooks for the spring itself. After the first compression it was clear that these were plenty big enough, even for the ridiculous springs on my Mercedes. There are a couple of downsides, but they are annoyances more than problems. The claws are so wide you really have to angle the compressor around the coils of the spring. It won’t sit properly when vertically aligned. When you do that, the back of the claws (at the thread) comes into contact with the spring itself, causing slightly unnerving noises when it eventually moves or jumps.Overall, really pleased with these, especially for the price. They certainly do dramatically reduce the fear and trepidation of a job that is terrifying enough already.

Good
Distance between claws and screw shaft could do with being a bit bigger but overall good value and did the job well.

Much better than anticipated. You can trust these.
We used these on a Military Land Rover TUM Wolf, Defender 110. The pic is of the rear springs new and old. With care these are really quite something, we cut 2inch off of the compression screw each side as we could not quite fit them where we needed them - this made no difference to the performance, they are great and after using them can safely say again if used with care they are quite the piece of kit. Excellent and really really useful. Well at compressing springs. :)

Usable with difficulty
Cheap and strong but difficult to use. The end part is sshort.it scratches the spring as you use it.

Worked for me
Used these to compress springs for a Jeep Gladiator lift. They're a little long but worked well and seem like a quality tool. Definitely apply some grease to them before use. Would recommend.

使い捨てなら?
一回しか使わないと思ったので安いものを購入したが1本目でネジ山がボロボロになりなんとか2本終えたところで御臨終となりました。目的はギリギリ達成できたけど、予想以上にもろい

Know what these are for. Know their use and what their incapable of doing.
lol i read the horror stories of people claiming to almost be killed using these spring compressors. make no mistake these arnt for fullsize chevy springs. these are for small honda springs. if you attempt to compress larger springs using this your in for a world of hurt. these worked well for removing honda/acura springs for me. they are maybe 6mm thick in the metal but again, for small vehicle springs. not large vehicle springs.
