I don't know about you, but I remember opening up Eric Carle's books and lighting up with joy as I flipped through the pages. When I was a child, my school would often bring in different books of his, and our teacher would let us read them or he/she would read to us. The colorful pictures and variety of animals, shapes, objects, drawings, etc., you can't be disappointed as a kid. All the things that kids love are in his books. I bought Eric's book sets because of my past memories and fondness with them. As of now, I often use them when I teach to children from the ages of 3-6. In my classes, the books are always a big hit. The children smile when they see the pages turn, and they are able to easily remember the alphabet, shapes, colors, numbers, and movements, thanks to the colors and creativity of his books. I personally think that everyone who has young ones, or will have young ones, should make this a top priority purchase.

Every child has got to have Eric Carle books. This little library has them all to read over and over again.

These books say first, so I thought they would be a good gift for my 7 month old. But when we got them and I flipped through them I was bummed. They are divided into top & bottom sections. The top has an animal, color, etc. Then you are supposed to flip through the pages of the bottom section to correlate with the image or color of the top section. I ended up giving it to my 3 year old instead. Its best for kids that are old enough to interact and understand the difference. Not good as a baby board book.

Great deal! These books are wonderful for a range of ages - babies and young toddlers can learn shapes, colors, and numbers, while older toddlers and children can learn letters and sight words. The top pages have a word in capital or lower case letters, while the bottom pages have the same word in the opposite case, along with a corresponding picture, but in a different order from the top pages. So it is great to show a child the picture and the word next to it (ie, cat), and then let him/her search for CAT on the upper pages.

Son perfectos para aprender, la calidad es excelente y son preciosos. Cada libro tiene páginas divididas en dos partes para que los niños puedan hacer coincidir la mitad de arriba con la de abajo.

Coelcción de Eric Carle muy aconsejable sobre todo si estás interesado/a en trabajar estos contenidos con los niños/as. Siempre se relaciona la imagen con una palabra. Para infantil yo solo utilizo las imágenes pero para primaria se pueden utilizar de manera interactiva para tratar de buscar la palabra que corresponde al dibujo.

I bought this for a friend's baby who loves books and being read to. This is a fun little book collection and I was very pleased with this purchase.

Gute qualität, schönen Layout und toll im Sinne der Pedagogik. Preiswert als Set und ich denke meine Tochter wird daran sehr viel Spass haben obwohl sie momentan nur die Seiten kaut:-)

Libro veramente bello e coinvolgente Lo consiglio. Gioco sulle ripetizioni, linguaggio semplice, immagini chiare e belle aiutano il bambino a interessarsi alla storia e alla lettura. Coinvolgente. Consigliatissimo
