Great buy for the money!!
If you or your loved one likes disc golf, then this is the perfect gift!! It is a very good quality basket and worth every single penny! My husband is 5'8" and it is almost as tall as him when the flag is included. 10/10 will definitely be buying more!!

surprising quality for a practice target at this price.
I've had my basket sitting assembled in my backyard for roughly 6 months at this point. In all types of weather in the midwest of the USA. I figured it was cheap enough that I wasn't going to baby it but its held up very well. I've noticed no rusting or discoloration on either the chains or the frame which i honestly expected. Its great for practicing putting where you can easily repeat your throw style and method.

Better than expected, having a bunch of fun!
Excellent activity to get up and moving…this Disc basket will provide you hours of fun! I worked on a project next to a Municipal Disc golf course and immediately got hooked! I ‘goofed around’ in my early teens with disc golf but these days I’m looking to stay active.I bought this to help me/practice but it’s turning out better than expected! Blessed to have a decent size backyard (setup 9 hole course w/a 220’ par 3 right winger), totally awesome neighbors (discs returned, sometimes spectators, & participants!), and it’s just out my back door (3 holes I ‘tee off’ from out front/end of driveway & call front yard water hazard)!

Feels solid
Just got it, put it together, everything feels pretty solid. I read a review that the chain links were kinda junky (miss aligned and sharp) and that ended up being true. So I'll be spending the next couple hours with some plier straighten out the bad ones. But the price balances this out for me.

Get it, bro! Huck some disc! Work on that tee shot 🤙
Got it to work on my approach and putt. Easy to put together and now a new distraction for me when I'm suppose to be doing something in the yard.

Great basket. Terrible chains.
I grew up near a course and started when I was 13yo so I've been playing the sport for 20+ years. My girlfriend is an ex college softball pitcher and has recently found a kinship with disc golf. We've been getting really into it lately so we got her a bag and started building it out with discs. Next big thing was we wanted a basket to practice our putts at home.First I tried a cheaper travel basket but it was obvious the plastic was not going to hold up to the abuse of consistent use. So I returned it and started looking at metal baskets. I found this one at a reasonable price just over $80 and decided to try it out. I was a little weary of kick out with the cross chains but thought it would make the basket lighter overall so figured it was an acceptable trade off. Again mainly being used for putting practice.Upon arrival everything was packed well and after assembly appeared to be solid and in good working order. Started using it and really enjoy the satisfying sound of hitting metal chains at home. Thought it was perfect for our needs and we'd be smashing our short game in no time. I went ahead and ordered a 5 pack of new DD Judge putters to work on consistency instead of throwing multiple different molds and expecting to learn anything about our form. After a short putting round with the new discs I found that the chains were absolutely chewing them up. I hadn't noticed before because most of my bag is already pretty well beat in but on the new ones it was obvious something was up. After closer inspection of the chains I discovered very poor quility control in the machining. The whole thing is completely covered in little metal barbs and many of the links are not fully closed which exposes sharp corners to the discs. As opposed to normal impact bruising of the plastic it's actually puncturing the discs and creating sharp divots around the edge like a small dog got ahold of them which is very uncomfortable to the hand.First I thought about trying to file the barbs down, but there's so many the task is honestly daunting. I also considered replacing the chains with ones of higher quality but the extra cost would negate the "good deal" I got on this and at that point I might as well return it and spend the money on something better that hopefully doesn't have the same issues.Discs aren't cheap and this basket certainly is not saving me any money by eating them alive. I've included pictures of the brand new discs and then the wear they received after a single round of putting. I really wanted to like this basket. Everything about it fit the bill and I thought I had a winner, but I don't want teethy chains destroying all my discs. I'd rather that be because I railed them into a tree like the good lord intended. All in all it has solid construction on the welds and the base is sturdy so I gave it 2 stars for that but considering the chains are doing most of the work I had to leave the rest off. If the chains were machined properly it would be 5 stars all the way but unfortunately the state of them is just unacceptable and not worth the continued cost of wear on my discs. I don't know if this is a fluke or the norm but I hope they step up and fix the quality control issue. If they did, they would have a really great product. Were they willing to send replacement chains that were acceptable I'm might consider changing my review but based on what I received I cannot recommend this basket to serious players who value their plastic.
