Great jacket (except for the baby bellies)
Our 15 month old is tallish (87th percentile for height) but average for weight. The size 18 month coat fits him well in length, both the length of the coat and arm length. The hood also fits well (his head is average size). The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because they didn't factor in the girth of many toddlers! He's got that fat baby belly that sticks out, and this jacket is a squeeze to get it around his middle. Thankfully, once it zips he seems comfortable, but it's definitely tight. I think a size up would be way too long on the sleeves, though. If your babe is in the upper percentiles on weight, and carries it in the belly, size up!This is perfect for car seat safety and warm, despite it's lack of bulk. We'll definitely be buying more as the kids grow.

it'd be better as a fall and spring
so we've had a patagonia down jacket for our babe before we purchased this one. when you first open the jacket, i can see how people would complain about thinking it was cheap and wasn't filled enough. That's what down does though, it puffs up the more your wear it.we compared it to our patagonia toddler jacket and i'd say they're very comparable in amount of down. I wouldn't get this for northeast winters, it'd be better as a fall and spring. but for our winters in virginia (28 being the coldest and usually staying around 47-54 degrees) it's perfect considering it's a layer over a sweater or sweatshirt. she actually gets too warm in it so she's been running around with just a thin long sleeve under this in 47 degrees with no signs of chill.the seams seem strong and it hasn't ripped yet and she wears it every day on hikes and running through the woods and playground. i only gave it four stars because the zipper isn't of the best quality and i can see that being the first thing to go, but it's alright if it does go we will just get a new zipper put on and it's still a TON cheaper than a Patagucci.

Perfect lightweight coat to wear in the carseat during the colder months
This coat is pretty decent for the price. I purchased it so that my daughter would stay warm in her car seat and as I am out running errands during the cold winter months. I didn't want to buy a super expensive coat (especially if I could find something comparable to the expensive brands for much cheaper!) In that sense, it's perfect. She can wear it comfortably in her car seat and still be safe with the straps tightened the way they should be. The fabric quality is a little weak in my opinion...and I wonder if it will snag easily (however it has not gotten damaged yet). I loved the ability to remove the hood because it's just not comfortable to wear in the car seat (we usually just put a hat on her instead). The zipper is a little thin and flimsy feeling, but it still zips perfectly fine. The coat is thin, but still keeps her very warm. The color was exactly as pictured and I liked that there were so many different colors and patterns to pick from! I expect this coat to get us through the winter and early spring and it will be used as a hand me down for our other daughter when she eventually grows into it. I have recommended this to others who are looking for a lightweight winter coat for their kids as well.

Size up, but warm, cute and safe
This runs small, bought 18 month for my 13 month old who is smallish (20 lbs). Is snug, but not tight yet. Fits perfectly, but we won’t be wearing it for even fall 2018. It rolls up very small so I’m comfortable with it being on while in his car seat. The hood is removable which is nice. It’s also pretty warm for how compact it is. Very cute too!

This jacket is amazing! I live how warm it keeps my daughter but it is not too bulky. It washes really well also. The only part I do not care for is the zipper. It is a small zipper and the inside fabric gets stuck in the sipper sometimes. But my 4 year old has figured out how to use it so it not a huge deal.

Not intended for heavy winter, but good enough to keep the kiddo warm when leaving the house or playing in the backyard. My son wears 4T, I got the 5T and it fits him perfectly, so definitely buy a size up.

Good for the money
I searched for a thin yet warm coat that wouldn’t cost me 200! This coat is great, it is a tad smaller than I would have liked but still fits him. It’s warm and seems to be made well... I read some reviews about the zipper and I can see how it would break, it’s not that great but it hasn’t been an issue yet for us. This coat allows him to be warm and safetly buckled in his car seat. Win win!

Mix up in labeling
Great looking toddler down jacket, as far as the eye could see. The biggest disappointment, the size. I ordered T4 for my grandson and the jacket that I received had a label marked T4 ! But this jacket won't even fit my other grandson who is 18 months old. I called Amazon for a refund and I was put in touch with the manufacturer in China who was understanding and issued a paid return label. Now I'm waiting for my refund to be put back into my original method of payment.
