This summer my fields grass grew really healthy, tall, and thick. Couldn't see the ground when I was walking thru it and thus couldn't see any snakes. We have rattlesnakes here so wanted some protection. These fit comfortably, stay up, wrap the entire calf, and are very easy to put on and take off. With these and my field boots (old hiking boots) I feel well protected.

My mom loved these snake guards. She wanted them for wearing around her property with lots of brush growing. She tried them several times, but because she is short (only 5'1"), they kept rubbing the bottom of her kneecap. She determined they were just too uncomfortable for her because of it. Otherwise she loved them and wished they fit her petite stature. She said she felt safe in them.

I really like how lightweight these gaiters are. They are also very easy to get on. Unlike other gaiters I've tried, these cover my foot down to my toes. I haven't tested out the snake bite resistance, hopefully I'll never have to test that part. But if I ever do, I'll let everyone know if they hold up or not. The only thing I don't like about them is the bottom strap that goes under my shoes/boots. It comes undone while I'm walking which slowed me down since I have to stop to retighten it so many times. But what's a little annoyance when it comes to lightweight protection from those no-legged creatures from hell!?!

These snake guards will definitely get the job done. Nothing is getting through these shields. They wrap around well so they cover areas that may get hit if you step over a fallen tree log and a snakey is chillin' in the shade underneath. That is when I am always paranoid because, at least the snakes here (southeast US) will just blend into the ground and strike without warning. Growing up, we never had snake guards this nice though. Definitely 100% without a doubt worth the investment an effective life or death safety precaution. I am gifting a pair to my brother who is a hunter.

Like the fit and coverage. I’ll definitely be less concerned walking in the underbrush.

These give you piece of mind when walking in the woods. We have copperheads and rattle snakes in the woods around our house. I wear these when I am mowing the brush to keep the snakes and insects under control. Will always wear these in the future. Great value, great product.

These didn't work for me. The flap didnt clip onto my shoelaces they way they were designed to. The legs were also too big. I couldn't tighten them enough. They scraped against each other on the insides of my legs. I would not buy these if you are an average sized female. They are made for a larger woman or a man.

I had bought them for my husband but unfortunately they did not fit at all I had to return them. My husband measured 21”.
