Great Product
These mufflers are great! I have two of them on my 98 V6 Camaro, and they sound really nice, they aren't too loud, but they aren't quite either, which is exactly what I wanted. They sound huge with a cat cut off, but I only had mine cut off so I could replace it, with a cat they sound really nice and aren't obnoxiously loud. Great Sound, amazing price! The only real problem I found is that the paint on them comes off kinda easy so be careful when welding and handling them, other than that the red looks pretty cool on the camaro from behind!

Perfect sound!
Been buying these for years now! Makes the trucks I've owned sound amazing! Not too loud, but gives a nice deep tone and shows some aggression when you get on the throttle!!

2007 3.8L JK 2-Door It burbles and sounds mean as heck!
I was concerned at first that with a V6 and it not being a sporty car that it was sound like a stupid ricer civic how ever I was completely wrong. With it being a bigger V6 it actually sounds really good. I mounted it under/between the rear driver side seat and driver seat. and then cut the muffler off right before where it clamps on to the rest of the pipe. The sound is deep and aggressive and unless you take this thing over 4K RPM then you wont get a ricey sound out of it. I am more than happy with the turn out. The only reason for the 4 stars is that there is a little bit drone which I will probably have to add some longer piping out the back or add a small resonator to eliminate that. However it does not bother me to much and its nothing that will annoy your neighbors or police. Will definitely look into this again for my next wrangler. Oh and when you down shift or let off the gas after accelerating it burbles and sounds absolutely awesome. Please click helpful if you found this review of any help it would mean a lot.

Great price and quality.
Good quality Glasspacks. They are a lot louder than I remember when I was young! Sound great, maybe too loud for someone “getting older”. I’m 2.5” true dual no cats, I’m sure that’s much louder than 2” would be or anything with cats still present.

Awesome deep sound can really hear the cam
2010 ss/rs camaro, tsp stage 4 cam, headers. Two local muffler shops told me that glass packs were out dated and I should get flowmaster fx mufflers, which I did. They never had the sound I was looking for, so I had these Flowtech glasspacks installed. Love them, has the sound that I wanted. Reminds me of the 1969 Roadrunner I had back in 1969. Don't let anyone tell you that these are outdated, that sound never goes out of date as far as I'm concerned. Ordered 2 more to put on my 1978 bronco.

Basic Glasspack, odd size.
THE SHORT: Basic glasspack muffler, nothing special here. Odd inlet/outlet size largely due to the thickness of the shell. Inner diameter is a tad over 2.5 inches and the outer diameter is approximately 2.68 inches. Therefore this is not a "slip fit" muffler as advertised because it cannot be installed using just adapters and clamps. Welding is the only installation option here. THE LONG: This is really just your basic glasspack muffler. It reduces backpressure which increases flow, horsepower (from any stock muffler), and sound. If you're upgrading or repairing your exhaust system, replacing your stock muffler with a glasspack is generally a good idea, even if you're not that interested in performance. The increased flow should (theoretically) also help improve fuel economy, especially for older cars with worn out mufflers that are being too constricting. Also, keep in mind during installation that all mufflers (glasspack and all others) are DIRECTIONAL, meaning that there is an upstream end (pointed towards the engine) and a downstream end. If you install the muffler backwards it won't work right and could hurt performance or just act like straight pipe, depending on the muffler. Most mufflers (incl. glasspacks) have an arrow printed on them indicating direction of flow. This muffler (Flowtech 50252FLT) does not, nor does it come with any instructions, so if this is your first time: beware. Finally, the size of the inlet and outlet is a bit weird. According to Flowtech's website this is supposed to be a "slip fit" muffler. It is not, largely owing to the thickness of the shell. The inner diameter of the inlet and outlet is about 2.5 inches, but the outer diameter is much larger, approximately 2.68 inches. You won't be able to find an adapter or sleeve at any local auto parts store (CARQUEST, NAPA, etc.) that will let you "slip fit" and clamp this muffler to your exhaust. Also, the shell is too thick to clamp through it onto a smaller piece of exhaust.

Great little muffler
When my truck muffler rusted out I did not want to spend a lot to replace it. And I couldn't beat the price of this little Cherry Bomb style muffler. Of course it's not nearly as quiet as the original, but I was going for that anyway. It is a nice "rumble" at idle and kind of purrs along at freeway speeds. If you accelerate at a normal pace you can tell there is something under the hood (I have this on a 4 liter V6) and if you wrap the rpms up a little further and faster you get a rasp at a pitch considerably lower (with a V^) than a 4 cylinder rice burner. (and you can't tell that it's there by looking). The only 'complaint' i have is that it took sometime to determine what part number to buy (the pipe diameters are in the part number) and the direction of flow. Other than that I would buy one of these again.

awsome product
I love the sound I get from these glass packs was nervous when i ordered them didnt want my 97 z28 to sound like a rice burner after the install started it up and i have a true muscle car sound I tell everyone about them and i love all the new attention i get now when i drive down the road and they have an aggressive sound but not so loud you cant think so if you want a great sound on a low budget get these glass packs

This has a fantastic, deep sound on my V8 Jeep, and it's not too loud either. Sounds much better than the Thrush Welded that came off of it. It also doesn't have a horrible drone either. Very happy with this muffler.

Looks like really good build quality I installed it on my 2001 Ram 1500 with a 5.9 L. Sounds excellent for the price. If you’re using it for the same application as me make sure you cut a 16 inch piece of 2.5” ID flex tube. And also get yourself 6 in of 2.5 OD Pipe to go between the glasspack and the flex tube. You’ll need four muffler clamps or 3 muffler clamps and a welder.

Installed on 5.4L 3v Triton V8 Slip fit, relatively easy install. Can be clamped on. Very loud when accelerating, almost ignorantly so. Quiet-ish at low rpm/low load. Good idle sound. I've never used this type of muffler before. I will be going back to a chambered muffler after this one has burned out.

Easy install make sure it’s placed in the right direction for maximum efficiency and let her eat for a while til she’s broke in then she’ll sound amazing
