Africana Studies: A Survey of Africa and the African Diaspora, Fourth Edition

I really like this book. I use it in my Africana Studies 100 course at the university. It is very well written with study questions and definitions of terms at the end of each chapter. There is an abundance of references at the end of each chapter as well. Each chapter is written by a different scholar who specializes in that field of the subject matter. The book is rich in content and quite academic - giving you a thorough studies on the subject.
