This thing is awesome. Way easier to install than your usual screen protector, and I love that you can take it off and put it back in with ease. Some of the other reviews stated that the privacy part didn’t work until a certain angle. But all I know is it works well if someone is next to you, you can’t see anything in the screen from the side. If someone is directly behind you, or behind you at a slight angle then they can still see it as long as they’re very close. But honestly if that’s a problem for you then you need to go to a less crowded spot. This privacy glass should work perfect for anyone in your average public setting or office space. I mostly just use it for the screen protection, so much better than your usual sticky screen screen protectors with all the air bubbles and worrying about sticking it on crooked.

The screen itself is pretty good. The application was easy, the finishing look was good, and the thickness is okay. If you have a keyboard cover on your Mac book, always make sure to guarantee that there are no particles/other on your keyboard before you close it. I made this mistake, and now I have a small crack in the top left of my protection glass. I will also say that the privacy screen works great, but I wish the angle of blocked view was a little more substantial. However, it serves it’s purpose, and allows me to not have nosy people looking at what’s on my laptop screen when I am in public places. Also, as for glares, I still get them, but they are not as blinding as before. Over all good, but could be a little better...

I purchased for 3 main reasons:1.protect my screen2. no use tapes or clips that may ruin my Mac new screen3. I do not disturb those around me in class if I'm on my computer.** Privacy is just a plus, but doesn't BLACK out your screen at any point, so I wouldn't get it if that it what your looking for. It does a good job of distorting the screen from others around you (but not if there are behind you)There is a slight glare that might take some adjusting and getting used too but its not the end of the world. Get it, the press/take off/ adjust feature is actually pretty cool

Easy to apply, just make sure your screen is completely clean prior. For it to be totally private, the non-viewing angle is more like 50-60 degrees. You will have to turn your screen brightness up as it does decrease brightness when viewing from strait on. It does add about 0.5mm of a gap when closing my mac book air 13", but does not interfere with auto shut off, staying closed or battery draining. Overall, totally worth it and happy with it.

I recently bought a 13in MacBook air m1 and was looking for a privacy screen protector to prevent nosy people from viewing my screen. The packaging was very nice and the screen protector was easy to install. Unfortunately, I am giving this product a 2-star rating because it does not prevent people from seeing my screen! With the brightness up on medium to max settings, my screen is fully visible! If someone were to walk past me they would be able to see everything I am doing! Highly would not recommend it because it does not protect your privacy.

I need a privacy screen for work so I have to have one of these. This one is one of my favorites because the viewing angle is not too narrow and the fingerprint resistance is good.There is increased glare and it does block a decent amount of light coming from the screen therefore limiting its use in brighter environments.

It does not work as good as I had hoped. It starts to work about 60 degrees off axis it’s god to block passers by, but not for mosey people. High quality, crystal clear, sometimes I forget it’s even on my laptop.

Other items were shipped with this sheet of glass (& yes, it’s glass) in the same box which beat the crap out of it and shattered it into a million pieces leaving glass shards all over my desk and floor. Not a fun thing to clean up.
