I have used Schreiners Herbal Solution for over 25 years. It is amazing, and specially on wounds that cannot be bandaged. It really DOES heal a wound from the inside out and often heals without a scar. I recommend it to everyone.

Easy to use and effective wound healing with minimal scarring

After testing it on a paper towel and smelling it, the last batch of Schreiners I received from Amazon in a 4 oz bottle of Schreiners seems more diluted with alcohol, than compared to the small amount I still have in my 2 year old 8oz spray bottle of Schreiners...Wondering if ordering my Schreiners in larger volume containers makes any difference as to it's strength. And BTW, I've used Schreiners as a liniment for sore muscles and to help stubborn wounds heal on myself for more than 20 years...Not recommending this for others, since that would be off use..But the healing properties of the herbs and spices are undeniable and well known, and to my best knowledge they have been well researched and documented. I'm however very cautious regarding getting the solution anywhere close to my eyes or soft tissue..

What the descriptions of this product don't mention is that this is a tincture--an alcohol-based solution. No wonder animals don't like it. Putting alcohol on a wound or open sore is painful, as any human who has experienced it can testify. Whether its healing properties are due to the herbs or to the drying effect of alcohol is an open question.

This stuff has been a life saver for hotspots and minor skin conditions on our pups!

Used for 25+ years, recommend.

Dog is responding slowly but heard great things about this so that is why I bought it. Our dog may have too strong of allergies because she is still biting. It has been many months of trying.
