Q: Do these subs really have a 5.56" mounting depth?

Q: Whats a good box for these? Vented or sealed?

I used a sealed box, but it mainly depends on what type of music you listen to. from what I've read, a sealed box will give you a tighter more accurate sound, while a ported box will give you more boomy bass. I really enjoy the sound quality from these subs, and they dont break the bank.

Would they smoke? No. Probably not. But they would bump hard. I had mine in a custom box on a 1500 watt at 1 ohm
