Glad I took a chance!
When looking for an all-natural changing pad, I found that my options were limited. In researching all of the brands listed on Amazon, I selected this one based on reviews and materials used. Bonus: it is made in the USA! Once it arrived, I found it to be a great size (larger than standard) and well made. It also comes with a simple safety belt for baby.I will say that I gave it four stars because it says it comes with a waterproof cover. I take that to mean "a removable cover on the product separate from the product itself". This is not the case; it merely has a waterproof fabric layer stitched on over the foam. I purchased an aden + anais organic cover and received a boppy cover as a gift; both fit perfectly even though the Oeuf is a bit longer than most pads.

Strong smell from this changing pad
This item arrived quickly and sealed in plastic. Once I opened the plastic, I immediately noticed a strong smell. The changing pad was putting off fumes which did not smell natural. I would have been happy if they were the woodsy or nutty sort of smell that you hear about when snooty people talk about wine. This smell reminded me of chemicals or carpet store. I had barely opened the packaging and decided to return it. I put it in my car right away because I wanted to keep it out of the house. When I got in my car later the smell was very strong even though the item was boxed up. Despite the advertising, these strong volatile organic compound smells are rarely good for infants. As a first time parent I know I may be over reacting (hence the 2 stars instead of 1) but I am inclined to keep my vinyl changing pad which does not smell. The next best "natural" changing pad is around $100. If anyone has other recommendations please comment. Regardless, please be warned that from my experience of this product I believe this off gassing is a bad indicator for the product. I may just get a nice cover for the vinyl pad we have in the hopes that it will help.

Actually 33" long, not 32.5"
I was excited to buy this product because I liked the natural, non-toxic materials used. However, it is actually 33" long (not 32.5" as stated on Amazon) and was too long to fit on the top of my IKEA changing table. I had to return it, at considerable expense (because it is a big/oversized package). It states right on the tag ON THE PRODUCT that it is 33" long. With a rigid base, there is no "squeezing it in". Now I have to try to get Amazon to refund me the full price for my return shipping ($44) when all they wanted to pay for was $7 for return shipping. Just FYI...

Pretty Good
No smell, but product feels cheap. The bottom of the pad is very slick and prone to slide while changing baby. In all fairness there are a couple of straps to nail to the back of the dresser or changing table that we have not yet secured. Also, it is impossible to clean and after just three weeks use, already has some stains.A standard changing pad cover fits easily.

Still great just not the Oeuf standard I expected
Really surprised at the shoddiness of workmanship. Oeuf is an expensive brand with normally beautifully designed items. I expected a higher standard. Don't get me wrong, it's more natural than most changing pads and that is still a huge plus, it'll still do the job and will look much nicer when I've put a cover on it. But..right out of the package the seams aren't joined properly, are frayed and falling apart, which I just wouldn't have expected from this brand at this price. Naturepedic are still my favourite and organic too.

Changing Table Must Have...
Being a first time mama, I had no idea what type of changing pad to use for our changing table. I liked that this one was made of natural fibers and that it had a cloth like cover vs. a vinyl. I've used it now for 7 weeks and absolutely love it. I didn't end up going with a cover, although I've been told that any contour changing pad cover would work for this. I just use larger cloth diapers and they work great, cause I can easily change them out when they get soiled. The Oeuf Pad easily wipes clean and even though it's cloth like, it acts waterproof. My son absolutely loves laying on this changing pad, it seems really comfortable for him and he feels secure.

very pleased
I bought the Oeuf Pure and Simple Contoured Changing Pad, Natural to avoid off-gassing, and it worked. The pad arrived today and I opened it and found no smell. It has straps that click together to help keep Baby from squirming off the dresser. It has two additional straps that can be screwed to the back of the dresser in order to keep the pad from sliding around (and comes with screws for that purpose). I bought it to put on top of my IKEA HEMNES 3 drawer chest, and it fits. I bought the Summer Infant Ultra Plush Change Pad Cover - White and that fits well on the pad.

I bought this changing pad for the playroom changing table and the naturepedic changing pad for the nuresry. This one is cheaper and just as good. I use the Naturepedic cover with both changing pads.I just don't understand why it recommends that one buy a waterproof cover to use with this pad. What's then, the point of buying an organic pad?
