Outstanding Mop..
I recently bought the Casabella Microfiber Magnet Mop, and this was a very worthwhile purchase. I've used Swiffer mops and various other sponge mops over the years, but this one blows them all away. You get a rag mop clean with the ease of a sponge mop. Initially I was a little hesitant about this purchase because of the price. In this case, you really do get what you're paying for. The Casabella Microfiber Magnet Mop is built sturdy. Its two piece handle easily slides together and stays in place without a locking mechanism. Once you get the top handle slipped over the bottom handle, turn the mop upside down and gently tap the handle on the floor to move it into place. A friction lock holds the handle together once its assembled. The squeeze mechanism does an efficient job of removing excess water from the mop head. You're able to retain as much water as you need by adjusting your pull on the handle. At maximum pull, and after the pull handle snaps into the fully compressed position, there is still just enough water in the mop head to do the job. The microfiber pad is easy to remove because it's attached with velcro. The pad is machine washable so it should be long lasting. When the pad is finished replacements are available to be ordered. In the long run, this mop will save money that would have been spent on Swiffer replacement pads. Please rate this review if you found it helpful.

Very nice mop
Another of my long winded reviews.I have the 13" wide Casabella sponge mop which I purchased here in Manhattan. It's fine for wide areas of more or less smooth wood flooring which does not get much traffic. I have some of this type of flooring. Not so good for getting around furniture. Too big. When I was younger, I moved heavy tables, desks, chairs and other furniture without a thought. Now, as I've grown older, priorities have predictably changed. The physics law of conservation of (my) energy applies now.My nice, white oak flooring was very snazzy when I installed it 25 years ago. Clean is all I want now.I needed a smaller mop.A minor bone which I have with Amazon is that their product descriptions, by and large, seem to be written by aliens from another galaxy. These bug eyed space folk have never seen a ruler or tape measure and, if they came across one of such items, would not know how to use them. Weight and other normal descriptions follow and apply.I suspect they use some complicated translation of distortions in the space-time continuum as units of measurement. Einstein would probably feel comfortable advising here.I generally ignore Amazon descriptions. No biggie. Life goes on.User product reviews have a much better positive score. It's usually easier to cull out and ignore nut jobs, blowhards, those with an agenda, shoot from the hip and outright liars in addition to the other usual suspects. What's left leaves food for thought before you buy.Not much review on this item so I'll toss my two cents. The traditional commercial grade mop comes with a heavy, caster rolling bucket, full of water and with a strong mechanical clamp for the mop which dumps the dirty water into the bucket. A strong back is essential. You simply have to pick up 40 or 50 pounds of dirty water from the bucket for a fresh water exchange. This gets tiring.Quite a clever redesign of the good, old fashioned, long yarn bucket mop.Trim the old fashioned bucket yarn very short, glue it to a suitable piece of foam and incorporate the bucket squeegee mechanism into the handle. A very well thought out simplification of a time proven item. Works better than a simple sponge mop, especially if you have a lot of foot traffic. A good, substantial, consumer and light commercial product.Without hesitation, I would give this product the full five stars, except that from the (lack of proper) description, I though the mop I ordered was smaller than the one I received. Wrong. The pad actually measures 11" wide and 4" front to back. Frustratingly, these dimensions are just a little too big for my favorite, handy dandy little tubs. A larger, heavier, tub is required. I would be perfectly happy to buy two of these fine mops if one was 7" wide and the other 13" wide. I believe both sizes could be used on the same upper frame. Seven inches wide could get into most every nook and cranny.BTW: Whether you use the sponge or the microfiber heads, buy a spare for each. They are cheap enough and save time when doing serious cleaning. Murph lurks here, beware.Work it dogs and prosper.

Finally found it!
I have been looking for a good quality spoonge mop for a long time, and this is my dream mop! It's very sturdy and well made. The quality of the handle and the microfiber spoonge is superior. You can feel the quality just by holding it in your hand. As soon as you start mopping, you will feel how smooth this mop works. The microfiber spoonge is very thick and really collects dirts and scrubs well without much effort. The flexible handle design is unique and extremely useful, making it possible to get into tight cornors and under furniture. The spoonge is very easy to clean. I actually look forward to mopping floor now. I will recommend this mop to everyone. Well worth the money.

The Mop that Flopped
I was wary after reading some of the lower star reviews but took a chance based on all the five star reviews. Now I can't help but wonder how a product that is so bad got so many five star reviews? Oh mop, how do I hate thee let me count the ways:- Easy squeeze butterfly mechanism. Yeah easy as in take a Sumo wrestler stance and push with all your might and when the mechanism actually folds be careful that you don't lose your grip and have the mop impale whatever is behind you or slam into the bucket/sink. On the plus side, regular use of this mop eliminates any need for a weight lifting regimen.- Adjustable head angle. What this means is that when you push the mop forward the head will flop up against the handle so that only the leading edge is mopping; when you pull back the head flops downward into the position it should have stayed in.- Scrubbing action. There is none. The microfiber can't generate any friction. A kitchen floor with a dried on food stain can't be cleaned with this mob.- Water residue. Other reviews led me to believe that the microfiber would leave less water residue. My experience is that this mob leaves just as much water as a ordinary sponge mob.I've gone back to using an ordinary sponge mob and a Bona microfiber floor mob. Apparently, the right tool for the job applies to carpentry, automotive repair and mopping.
