This makes the Cross/Sheaffer Ion pen worth it
I stopped using my Cross Ion because Cross refills were too expensive and they clogged up and stopped writing after a few weeks, long before they'd used even half of their ink. Their "warranty" covered the pen, but not the ink refills. These 3rd party refills are not only cheaper, but they're better than actual Cross refills. I've not had one fail before running out yet.

They work OK but I prefer the medium point over the fine point.
