Very realistic!
We love our new fireplace! Everything works great! Our family couldn't believe how real it looks! It can be set as high as 99 degrees & it heated our room up a couple degrees quickly. Light adjusts automatically to room brightness and we love the different color options

Two strikes with this item!
I ordered two of these from Amazon and both were defective. Since this is a very pricey item I was expecting a lot more. Both units made a very loud clicking noise that corresponded to the flame pattern. I called Dimplex and they said it was the Flicker motor. The unit is very nice and without the defect I would have given it 5 stars. It’s just odd that both units I ordered from amazon did the same thing. I wonder now if they were seconds.

Does not heat as well as a cheap plug in unit. No warranty service .
The media could not be loaded. I am on here to tell you not to buy these from Dimplex. After working with their warranty program for a year I have had no resolution. They told me over and over to get electrician there. I had two electricians and one fireplace specialist. It never blows cold air and never gets the room up to temperature. They send out parts but do not have any people that fix them. I have paid for the labor. They wanted a receipt for fireplace guy and of course I can’t find it. I don’t have time to work on this full time and email and call every month. I have better heating from a plug in 200.00 fireplace. I am very disappointed and a waste of money in my 150k addition.
