This little kit contained everything I needed and then some excellent purchase for the price I'd buy it again

The quality is good.

its fun to get started with and learn the process, but- probably not surprising for a kit this cheap- not the greatest quality. some of the blades are stamped off center and the hooks are not super sharp.

The lures components met with my expectations. The so called crimping pliers are cheap Chinese junk. Would have preferred to to receive just the lure components without the pliers at a somewhat lower cost.

I got this set primarily for the wife and blades. After receiving it I realized the wires are too short for making any other style baits (wooden crank baits and jerk bait) but i decided i would use this set to teach my kids (4yo twins) how to make some basic spinner lures. They are just getting in to fishing with me, and wanted more lures for their little tackle boxes. We made a few of them and they loved it. Best suggestion is to wrap the hooks in electrical tape so they can hold them. Obviously i had to do most of the work, but they picked out the parts, and were able to slide them on the wires, i did the the rest. It was a fun project for them, and now they have a handful of glowing lures they are quite happy with. I cant wait to get them out on the water with them to catch a fish on their own homemade lures. Have fun with it, and remember this is an extremely basic set.Good luck and tight lines.

I see this kit and figured I would give it a try being my fist time building any lures. As soon as I got the kit I watched a few videos on Youtube and went to work I made 3 that day and with in the next few days I went trout fishing and gave them a try nothing was working as far as power bait or worms so I gave one of the spinners a try and the second cast I lander a nice 16'' Brown Trout and a few more minutes another brown and a Rainbow, in about a hour I got my limit! It was a great feeling when you catch your limit with a lure you built from a kit! I will buy this kit again I gave a few to my fishing buddy and he got a lot of fish with them! For the money you can't go wrong!

Pros: All pieces needed, easy to figure out. Cons: Blade stickers are not precut, pliers do not cut very close.

This kit was for my 10 year old son! We helped him with some steps, but he just loved the kit. The lures really are the real deal! Great product.

Received a very small package. I’m a bit disappointed I will have to purchase a plastic case to put in before I give for Christmas.
