Does not meet MB 236.12 as advertised but should work
I bought this based on the statement in the description that it meets Mercedes spec 236.12. Unfortunately, the label of the container says it meets 236.14, which is not the same as 236.12 and does not appear to be appropriate for my vehicle requirements. After a ton of research I have come to believe that 236.14 is "backward compatible" with 236.12, so I'm going to use it for my transfer case oil change in the near future. Fingers and toes are crossed.
