Perfect to own during change shortage
I love this washing machine. It is quiet, does a great job cleaning my clothes. My husband built me a platform to put it on and a tote under it for when it drains also when I am rinsing and spinning the water drains into tote and I dump it. My husband does drywall everyday and his clothes are just full of mud. With this washer I can soak his clothes for a couple of hours then turn on timer and it agitated til its time to rinse then I take clothes out and stick in spinner with alittle water to rinse as its spinning then the clothes come out looking and smelling fresh and clean. Make sure you get a warranty because you will be using it alot and enjoying saving money especially now when we have a change shortage and can't find quarters to save your life!! TOTALLY RECOMMEND for any Apartment or college dorm room. As long as you have a faucet to hook up to and a tote to drain you gotvit made! PS, when in spin mode, it spins so fast that it separates water from material, (what they call the dryer, minus the heat) afterwards hang to dry or put in dryer and done way faster!!

Poor seller prohibits a fair review of this item
**Note, this review is focused more on the seller than the product, as I feel I cannot fairly review this product, however I will say the product is extremely lightweight, easy to set up, easy to use, and for what it is, does a good job washing clothes that are not heavily soiled**The washer/dryer arrived broken. I used the washer side which worked fine, it did a good job washing clothes. However, when I went to use the dryer/spinner, the spinner did not work. No manual arrived with the washer/dryer so I was unsure how to troubleshoot the unit, and no instructions could be found on the seller's main website or anywhere online. The following is a list of attempted fixes:- I lightened the load from 2 t-shirts and 5 pairs of underwear to just 1 pair of underwear to see if the initial load was too heavy; no change.- I checked to make sure that the outlet I was plugged into did not blow its fuse; it was fine.- I ran the washer again to make sure that maybe the two shared a motor; they do not.- I changed settings on the middle dial in case the spinner could not run on the drain function of the washer unit; nothing changed.- I finally resorted to opening the back to see if any wires were disconnected on the dryer/spinner; everything was intact as far as I could tell, though there was presence of a large amount of black dust, possibly lint in the compartment where the wires are stored.I contacted Amazon directly to see if they could help me troubleshoot the product due to the lack of a manual. They were unable to assist me, and thankfully issued me a return label for the product so I could receive a refund on it. This was the only upside to this purchase.I understand that I purchased a used product, however the only thing I can think of that would explain the product being broken on arrival as the box arrived intact and undamaged, is that the product was returned as damaged, and the seller put it up for resale without checking what was wrong with the damaged product and making sure it was functional.I cannot call it dishonest as the seller did state it was a used purchase, however this is still a poor practice on the sellers part, and I cannot recommend anyone purchase anything from this seller if that is the case, as if you buy something brand new, and return it because it is no longer functioning, they will resell it at a slight discount in its non-functional state, which in itself is a pain for anyone looking for a more affordable product.

A solid portable washing machine!
When I decided to buy one of these portable personal washing machines it was just an awesome idea. I was not sure if they were actually worthwhile the money as far as cleaning and clothes goes but after doing extensive research into them I made a great decision about choosing the VivoHome Twin Tub Washing Machine. It's going to be a very affordable situation in the long run.I have horrible arthritis in my knees and have to use a cane to get around so if the maneuverability and the weight of this thing is excellent and it takes up a very small space. Which is great because I live in a duplex so it's tight quarters. The only downside complaints that I can see I have after the first day of owning it is the drainage tube could be longer and it could have a 30 minute wash setting. Those are my my only dislikes of this wonderful piece of human ingenuity.

Frustrating to figure out, easy once you get the hang of it
PROS-•convenient for apartments•energy saving•good for small quick loads of laundry•the spin dry nearly dries the laundry completely•fairly small, easy to store•very minimal laundry detergent makes laundry smell AMAZINGCONS-•doesn’t come with the adapter for the water inlet, so if you don’t get one you’ll have to manually fill the washer (around 4-5 gallons of water so personally not a big deal)•the hoses that come with it are practically useless. They don’t connect to each other (water pours through the connections if you try), they don’t connect to the machine, I don’t understand the purpose of even providing them. Instructions don’t clarify about the hoses, and I’ve yet to find a video that’s helpful•because of the hoses, you have to use this washer in the shower, tub, or outdoors because the water outlet is reeeeally short.•spin dryer gets thrown off balance REALLY easy, and you can only spin dry a few small items at a time (or one bath towel). This causes load times to be extended and loading/reloading often throughout the cycle.CONCLUSION- I don’t regret buying this item, although for the price I was expecting a bit more “auto”. It fits about three bath towels max (to give an example of the load size). Convenient for quick washes, but definitely not for letting the laundry get piled up or you’re going to have an achey back trying to catch up on laundry. You’ll probably need a 3 prong extension chord as well, the plug is pretty short. Considering you’ll probably have to use it in the shower, I wouldn’t second guess buying one unless your plug is RIGHT next to your shower.

I love this little thing!
Best value for the money that I’ve purchased in a long, long time. I live in an apartment, on my own, so it’s a perfect size. Yes, you can’t do a full load, only smaller loads but the washer washes the clothes extremely well (on a full 15 minute cycle, I find it actually does a better job of cleaning the clothes then a regular washing machine) and the spin dryer is just amazing. In the winter, clothes hung to dry were dried in about three or four hours, in the summertime, with clothes hung outside, they are dry within an hour or so. I place it on a platform over my bathtub when I’m using it. Works great and drains easily. I really love this little thing; so happy I bought it and it really beats having to lug clothes down to the laundry room all the time.

Spinner never balances and is really loud, even with one item
We did not have a chance to set up the unit prior to the return window, otherwise, 100% would have returned this unit. The washer is okay and works as designed. However, when it comes time to use the spinner to get the bulk of the water out, the unit is very unbalanced, loud, and shakes like the dickens until you get the burnt rubber/motor smell of something that is seriously wrong. First time I tried it the motor kicked off until it cooled down. I did once manage to get the load somewhat balanced, so if/when that happens, it spins so fast it sounds like a jet taking off, but the timer stopped before all the water was out, so when I tried again, I got the shimmy shimmy shakes from the machine again until it stopped working.DO NOT BUY THIS FOR YOUR RV or TINY HOME...One other thing, there is no lint trap/spin that will remove the lint, so unlike a traditional washer/heat dryer, all your close will have all the lint that usually goes in the lint trap on your clothes.

Best purchase ive ever made
Had it for almost 6 months now. Already paid off the investment by not going down to my buildings laundry where it's $4 a load. This thing paid off it's self twice. Done hundreds of loads in this thing. Total life saver. Surprisingly fits a ton of clothes. Including 2 king sheets or even a king duvet cover. I put this machine in my tub and use an extension cord to power it and use my shower head with hose to fill it up. Easy peasy and then drain it and store it in my bathroom. Perfect size. Get one now if you're in a building. No more gross overpriced laundry machines...

Good little combo for seniors but one minor assembly issue on delivery
It is a small unit but that is what we wanted. We are both seniors and this is perfect for us. Light enough to lift and move around for storage. Now we don't have to go to the laundromat in these crazy times. Thespinner is awesome and it spins things in less than a minute to lightly damp. So far we like it. I had one issue though from the start. The washer drain did not operate properly. The tank barely drained and then stopped draining on the first load. I found the hook on the strap that connects the drain switch to theplunger in the shut off valve was connected to the top hole in the plunger which caused too much slack and the plunger was never pulled up to open the drain valve. Lowering the hook to a lower notch on the plunger solved the problem and it now drains fine. However if the nylon strap fails I will install a chain or just use a submersible aquarium transfer pump the kind that is used to empty an aquarium to change the water. They are cheap and should work well if needed. Just did a lot of hoodies and sweats and it did those fine as long as neither the washer or the spinner are packed or filled too full. Smaller loads is the key. We put ours in the bathtub and the hose drains fine . A strainer in the bathtub drain should be used though to catch the lint.

Not what I expected
So I would have to disagree with previous post. Drain hose that is provided is short and has to lay flat so can’t really use it on the floor. I had to place it on my kitchen counter. The water hose that fills the laundry tub did not fit my faucet so it took filling buckets until I get an adapter. What I will say is yes it will clean, rinse and spin very small loads. This product will be a great asset for my camping and cottage living but for apartment living I will have to continue to use building laundry facility.
