I like the shape, its easy to blow up, and it packs down small. But I'm mostly a side sleeper and have broad shoulders and it wasn't nearly tall enough to comfortably rest my head on, so I bought a second one and used some fabric glue and Velcro to stick em together, one on top of the other. Now with the bottom pillow fully inflated and the top one only half inflated it's tall enough and cradles my head VERY comfortably, but if I want to switch to my stomach or back in the middle of the night all I have to do is remove the top pillow and use the bottom one, quick and easy (less the noise the Velcro makes). Buying two of these pillows wasn't ideal because the stuff sack only fits one and its of course, twice the weight and cost, but I couldn't find a taller inflatable pillow for less than the cost of two of these. It works perfectly for me, and my SO liked it so much I bought two more and made a pillow stack for him, he says it the most comfortable camping pillow hes ever had... and I haven't even made pillow cases for them yet! Once I do I'll sew up some new stuff sacks that will fit two pillows and a case. We are not ultralight campers by any means but I only have room for a single 45 gallon tote to store all our camping stuff in so having bulky gear isn't an option. These pillow stacks are so much more comfortable and pack down so much smaller than the memory foam pillows we were using before!

Nice and light and packs down tiny. Maybe not the most comfortable thing in the world but perfect for backpacking trips when you're worried about weight and space. Not sure about long term durability, I've had it out all summer and haven't put a hole in It yet.

This is a great pillow for backpacking. I’ve tried some others in the past, but they didn’t pack as small as this one which is a problem if you like to pack light. It’s so light when it’s packed in the bag you barely notice it. I had a little problem figuring out the valve when I first got it but I came back to this page and saw the photos. There are 2 valves stacked, the top one is for inflation and has a one-way air valve to it blows up easy. The bottom is deflation only. So far it has held air well on a weekend trip. The material is softer than I was expecting but not so soft that it collects dirt or water. I was expecting it to be noisier when I moved around but it hasn’t been an issue. I like that you can adjust how firm it is. At first i inflated it all the way but i find when you release a little air it is more comfortable for my neck and is more supportive of my face.Overall a really great value. you cant go wrong for the price

Pillow was comfortable for three days when it remained inflated. Now the air slowly leaks out and it’s completely flat in about an hour. Cannot find or hear from where it’s leaking. Very disappointing since it is comfortable when inflated.

I got this for my son who goes to camp every summer. I am excited that it is light weight and very compact for him to have in his backpack. He does a lot with the cub scouts and this is perfect. We have had him blow it up and try it out already to make sure it was something that we would be comfortable with. We will be getting another for my other son as well. I was waiting to make sure it wasn’t a waste of our money and I can say that it will not be.

For backpacking, cheaper than STS

Does the job. Inflates, deflates. Not enough height or support for a side-sleeper though. Also, will slide off the sleep pad.

I have used this several times this season with mountain, beach, and desert camping. It withstands any camping climate and is lightweight and compactable for backpacking. Far better alternative to other brand name inflatable camping pillows that overcharge in price.I don't fill it up completely with air when I use it, it is too stiff for me personally. I deflate the pillow just a tad and it gives me the head and neck support that is crucial for a good nights rest when camping.
