Can a replacement mounting bracket be ordered?

I'd actually like to attach it flat to a wall. Is this possible? Is the mounting hardware on the back of the mirror removable?

The bracket on the back of the mirror is attached with three screws so it appears to be detachable. You could then attach it relatively flat with two sided tape or perhaps by drilling a hole in the back and hanging it on a screw or nail.

How rigid is the ball mount, can it withstand the movement/vibration of being mounted to the back of a garage door?

The ball mount is pretty rigid. However, its intended use is to be stationary. I would imagine it would hold up well. Of course, it would be dependent upon the frequency of use/movement of the garage door.

is this mirror fire safe to mount outside on a fence that sun will be shining into?

This mirror is intended for outside installation as well, it's been 2 years and it's still shining for us we don't have any problem

GREAT for pulling into the garage!

THese work GREAT in for pulling into my garage! It's a tight fit, and these mirrors just guide our two cars in so I know exactly how close I can get to the side and end of the garage. I hung them high on the sides of cabinets. Couldn't be happier.

Works great and two worked even better for me

I already had a floor mounted bumper stop in the front but wanted mirrors to allow me to safely get the car closer to the wall. First photo shows car entering garage and the safety tape line I placed on the floor. Second photo shows first mirror view from drivers seat as car enters. Third photo shows second mirror view once car is past the first mirror. Fourth photo shows mirrors mounted on shelf and cabinet from driveway looking in. A little larger may have been nice, but together these work fine and the price is right.

Well made.

Came packaged really well. All the hardware was heavy duty and install was very easy. You have to loosen the screws on the back of the rear swivel to get it to move easily. My wife can now park her suv in our tight garage without my directing her in.

Great Mirror!!

A great driveway/roadway mirror, but I wish I'd gone bigger!

I mounted this roadside on the post that holds the rural delivery mail box. It became necessary when my neighbor refused to trim their overgrown roadside bushes, partially blocking my view. The mirror works great and the hardware package is everything you will need, but images are a bit on the small side. I should have followed the recommendations of others and gone a size larger. Next round....
