THE DESCRIPTION IS DECEPTIVE: THE CAMERA IS NOT WIRELESS. You have to keep the camera plugged into an outlet in order for it to work....so I'm not sure why they think it's ok to put "wireless" in the description.Also, I'll be honest for those of you out there considering making this purchase: this camera isn't for novices. You should have some experience with security cameras in general (installation, configuration, identifying errors related to camera or network, etc). With that being said, this is one of the better WIFI cameras that I've owned. The quality of the images is fantastic, you can basically hear a whisper from across the room with the microphone on, and night vision is hands down the best I've seen out of any camera, ever.I'd recommend this if you're planning on using it inside a home you share with a roomie, or an apt complex with maintenance that may have sticky hands...(i.e.: if you have roommates that you'd like to keep outta your room...put this in an inconspicuous spot, hit record, or use the "alarm" button and let them know they've been caught!) Overall, I'm incredibly impressed with the image quality, the video feedback, and the audio. It's basically everything it claims to be, minus the whole "wireless" thing.

I read the negative comments to find any flaws. Glad I then judge myself as to there accuracy.Just take your time and follow the instructions, it installs without issue. There is an IP and MACaddress associated with the device. Don't know what that one negative comment was about. Yougo to mipc.com after install, use the password created during install, and you can set up the motionsetc. Also has as large camera view. Plan to use it to watch robin bird's nest and share with young grandkids.

We really like this camera. We use it as a dog cam to check on our two dogs when we are out of the house. I like that you can even use the camera to talk to them also. Has a nice picture and the night mode has a great picture also.

***UPDATE*** 11/24/20. As for my critique of the distance the night vision was in a very dark room after the camera was in the room for awhile it adjusted and now views about 10 feet much improved. Everything else is still great..I am very impressed with this camera. The picture and sound quality is fantastic. It seems very well made and is a great size and shape. I was worried about the setup process after reading some other reviews BUT it was so extremely easy if you just follow the very simple instructions. Now the app for the camera completely exceeded my expectation it is fantastic. I cannot say enough about the app so easy to use so many options motion detection and sound detection alerts right on my phone, records video, motion and sound sensitivity settings, face detection settings and the list goes on and on. I have 2 small critiques. One is the night vision is great if you have a little tiny bit of light in the room but for me the room the camera is in is very dark so the night vision only shows about 4-5 feet. Number Two is the power cord really needs to be much longer. It is only about 3 ft long so unless you are just sitting it on something that is right in front of an outlet you will need an extension cord or have to buy a longer power cord. By the way power cord is a USB cord.

We are getting a puppy, and our plan is to use our kitchen as a large playpen for timeouts and rest breaks after play. We also plan to use it as his place when we go to work or need to run errands. We have decided to use a camera to check on him and try to soothe him if he is upset. We don’t have kids, so I tend to “over-mother” our dogs. God bless my husband. He just smiles, but I know he rolls his eyes when he walks away. Anyway, enough about us and our adorable yellow lab baby-to-be. HE JUST ROLLED HIS EYES AGAIN. I heard it! LOLOLOLOL We are AMAZED by the quality of this camera. The picture is crisp and bright. I cannot wait to watch our little guy grow and learn, and I’ll get to do it anywhere with the super easy and crystal clear app. Did I mention we’re getting a puppy?!!!!

It works and serves its purpose. It struggles to stay connected to the internest and sometimes takes forever to connect. Theres a few second delay in the hd mode so i leave it in the other one. For the price, im really quite impressed. Had problems connecting to Alexa but found how to do it1. Open the Alexa app, Select more (3 lines)2. Select Skills & games3. On the navigation bar search for Mipc4. Find and select the 'Mipc' skill5. Select enable, and link to your Mipc account6. Restart the camera and switch it off for 60 seconds and then back on. Once it is on try viewing it on the Echo show

Okay, so this is coming from someone who’s owned an Owlet camera for their baby. I’ve had numerous issues with Owlet. I had to reconnect it so many times, it was slow, the app was awful, the cord broke and I had order new cords. So I ordered this cheap camera to get the job done. I refused to get another expensive camera just for it to crap on me again.This camera is BETTER than the 150 dollar camera. It’s faster. I haven’t had to reboot it 100 times. I’ve had it for a week, and so far I’ve had to reconnect it once because of MY internet. Not the camera or app itself. It’s better than I expected from a 20 dollar camera by far! I’d say try it out, you won’t he disappointed. It’s only $20 dollars. Who cares!

I was honestly surprised at how well this worked for the price. I've bought $40 cameras that were glitchy, but the picture and sound on this is great.I bought as a motion sensor camera to alert me when my child who has elopement impulses (thr uncontrollable urge to escape or wander) opens her bedroom door. This cameras sensor works great and doesn't lag a whole lot, which is important when making sure a child isn't leaving the house. Setup was incredibly simple. I will definitely be getting more.

Best security cam (that doesn't have panning option) I've bought so far and I've bought several. Works better than a camera I bought last year that cost me almost 4 times as much. This one has amazing night vision, sound quality, motion detection, 2-way audio, and HD video. For the price I paid on sale ($17), I am absolutely amazed at how well this little wonder performs! Definitely a 5 star product!

Amazing camera for the price. Does most of what high end devices can go. A bit of a clunky app, but it's fine for me. Quality all around is fantastic. Lowest of everything would be the sound, but it's still adequate. Comes with long power cord which is a huge bonus. Would be perfect package if you got some sort of free cloud storage. Even a tiny bit to get you going.

Good video quality but when you speak the sound on the camera side is not clear and lots of echo, however if its only for video and not for two way communication than its not bad

je l'es acheter car je me suis fait voler récemment. qualité image: 7/10 pour une caméra de cette taille la qualité est bonne. micro: 2/10 fonctionne mes très mal. rapport qualité/prix: 8/10 j'ai été plutôt étonné de la qualité pars rapport au prix (18$). a suivre!
