This product is not suitable for purpose - it does not cut through cheese - it's one and only purpose. We've tried to tighten the wire but it didn't help. Shocking product. Contacted the seller and they responded saying we could have a refund if it was unused and unopened - clearly it was because we wouldn't know how bad it was without it being used. I pointed this out along with the law that entitles us to a refund for it not being fit for purpose but not heard anything.

Excellent for large blocks of cheese,cut to any thickness you need.

I bought this as I was in dire need of a cheese cutter and it was the end of the month and so I guess you get what you pay for. It does cut cheese, but, the wire is pretty thin compared to my previous one that broke, the groove in the boars is not quite deep enough it does not cut all the way through at the bottom and the handle is actually squint and the wire does not lie in the groove at the end. It could be a very good cheese cutter, but it falls short

The product looked great. But don’t let a nice picture fool you. On the first time of use, the wire snapped. And as the product doesn’t come with a replacement wire, it has to be returned. I would have given it a zero star rating if I could. Not to mention the hassle of organising a return. Pay a little more for a better standard of product.

When unpacked and first used the handle fell off. This was reattached correctly.It again became unattached. On inspection the thread is flattened on two sides to locate and tension the wire. This is insufficient to maintain the handle in place. I am well versed in mechanical matters so I do know what I am doing.Sorry service from supplier was prompt and quick but product fell far short of requirements.

Not a very sturdy product broke on the first use. The cheese wire is too flimsy and the connection to the of the wire to the lever dose not hold the wire in place, also due to the wire being so thin it just bends, as the product broke on the first use I cannot recommend value for money. It's easy to clean.
