Carmex Medicated Lip Balm Sticks, Lip Moisturizer for Dry, Chapped Lips, 0.15 OZ - (2 Packs of 3)

I've been testing SPF lip balms this summer, and have come to the conclusion that I'm really particular about balms. I like them to be soft and melty but last more than 20min, feel occlusive but not sticky, and give a little bit of shine without looking like a full scale gloss. I don't want nasty flavor, weird smells, a white cast, or chemical burns. I've been having a hard time finding a balm that meets those requirements and ALSO has SPF, and this seems to be the winner. This is definitely soft, but can be applied lightly or layered thickly. It melts on easily, feels smooth, hydrates well, doesn't have a perfumey or food-like fragrance, and offers a little shine. No gross flavor or white cast, and lasts at least an hour but not all day (which is a good reminder to reapply SPF every few hours anyway). The only thing I dislike is that it transfers to cups, so I usually use a drier balm during my morning routine (right before coffee) and then use this the rest of the day. I would get this on Subscribe and Save if I could!

By far, the best lip balm. Doesn’t cake I buy as many as possible at a time because I’m never without it.

Don't usually review a chapstick type product but want to share that for sun treatment, chapped winter lips, this is the best product I have used for decades. I live in dry air and lots of sun and this keeps my lips healthy. I'm 65 and have nice looking lips and I attribute that to Carmex. Can't beat a winning recipe at a good price!

Chapped lips are a thing for me over here in distinct four-season New England, and I usually turn to Burt's Bees or Carmex for help, both of which work better for me than waxy ChapStick. However, I noticed that when I used Burt's Bees, I needed to use it several times, as if once I used it, I built up some kind of dependency on it. And that just doesn't happen w/Carmex, so, I bought this bundle and now have a stick in my each of my winter coats, laptop bag, key drawer, etc., and it continues to work like a charm.

I bought these with the intention of having one in several locations for easy use. I am not sure if they are good or bad. The balm is about the same consistency as vaseline with some camphor. It does not seem to last very long and feels dry after a couple of hours. I gave up on Chapstick as it did the same thing. Maybe I am expecting too much from the balms. I do have good results from Aquafor Balm.

I like this lip balm more than any other issue have tried. I buy the multi packs bc the whole family uses it. Great year round lip balm.
