Definitely helped on a whirlwind vacation with multiple hotel changes. Wish I had bought it sooner. Would have liked the hanging hooks to rotate 360 degrees but was able to use it in the various closets at the hotels stayed at. Also would have liked a 2nd zippered shelf but nothing fell out despite changing hotels 8 times in 10 days. Would recommend for any trip even without hotel changes, as it's nice to keep clothes unwrinkled and at eyelevel in the closet. Measure the inside of your suitcase carefully, mine did require a checked bag size case.

We travel quite often, and never leave home without these packable shelves in our suitcases. I designate a shelf or two to each of our children (depending on their age and size of their clothes--the bigger kids' clothes take up more space), load up their clothes, and load the shelves into suitcases. When we arrive, it takes two seconds to unpack by pulling out the shelving units and hanging them.We have used these for about two years and they are still in excellent condition.The only reason I gave them 4 stars rather than 5 is because I find the shelves a bit too wide for our needs. It would be nice if there was a narrower option so that two units would fit inside a larger suitcase.

Overall, great product. Well made and not a bad price, particularly compared to similar products. I pack it full of clothes while hanging and it doesn't look like it will break and it doesn't cave in in the middle. It does take up some space and reduce the amount you can pack in your luggage, but that is the trade off for convenience. I've used it on a week long trip and a 4 day trip, it worked well for both (both places had closets, but I guess you could hang it on a door). I would use it in my closet if I had room. Definitely helps keep my clothes neat and organized (I'm typically pretty messy).

I am a flight attendant, so I use this every single day. When I'm at work, I stay in several hotels each week. When I go home, I just hang it up in my own closet, so I can easily pack again when it's time for me to go back to work. It hangs in the closet and collapses into my luggage, which makes my packing and unpacking take just a few seconds.I had a similar hanging shelf that I loved. It lasted two years, but recently fell apart. So, I bought this new, awesome luggage organizer for my 22" TravelPro carry-on. There's still a bit of room on the sides of my luggage for books, and I keep five pairs of shoes in my carry-on, as well. I especially love the zippered shelf feature, which my old hanging shelves did not have... In fact, if the bottom two shelves were both zippered, that would be even better!On the top two shelves, it holds 2 pairs of jeans (could put a third pair), 1 pair of cargo pants, 2 pairs of exercise pants, 15 shirts, and 2 dresses. The zippered shelf holds 15 pairs of undies, 2 full bras, 2 sports bras, 3 scarves, 1 belt, and there's room for more.

I have been looking at these packable shelves for many months to use on business trips that are short. I finally broke down and purchased this one. Sadly, it is just ok. The first trip I wanted to use it, I realized where I was staying would not have anywhere to hang it. The second trip, I realized that after I loaded this up, there was little room for my toiletries and shoes. I finally used it on the third trip and it worked fine. While I will use it again, it is certainly not as versatile as I thought it would be.

I recently bought a gym membership and when I took my first shower there, I realized they don't have a decent option to place my items. They only have 2 double hooks to hang your clothes or towels. Most ladies come out of the shower and will dress publicly in the locker area....but that is not my comfort level. This is a PERFECT solution and now I feel safe that my clothes will never fall onto a wet floor! 1st, I was pleasantly impressed with the quality of this product. It has a little "lip" on each shelf level to keep things from rolling off the edge. It has large, sturdy hooks and the straps hang down 18 inches from the top of the hook to the top of the upper shelf. It hangs exactly to where it is a comfortable level to work with. (straps can also be adjusted shorter if needed) I will be using the top shelf for my (undressing) dirty clothes, the middle shelf for my clean clothing and the zippered area for my underclothing and my incidentals. I LOVE this AND it fits so perfectly in my medium sized BAGO duffle bag which measures 10 x 13 x 23 inch!

I travel every other week for work and this product has been a lifesaver!!!!!! It keeps me from having to dig through my suitcase to find something and keeps everything folded. I live out of a suitcase half of the year and it is no fun. This product, however, makes me feel like I have a little dresser everywhere I go. The one thing I would caution is the size. When I use this thing, I can barely fit anything else in my suitcase! It fills up the entire suitcase and I typically have to sit on the top of my suitcase to zip it shut. Please keep that in mind when packing. That being said, I went without it on one trip last week and couldn't stand not having it. I will take it on every trip regardless of how bulky it is I would highly recommend this to anyone that every goes on a trip!

I love the concept - you pack your items into the shelves, then pull it out when you are ready to use them. No unpacking! However, the shelves themselves are pretty bulky and take up a lot of room and are heavy. This is a good option to use when you're just going for a weekend trip and have plenty of luggage space (you will need to put this in a larger carry-on size. (but then again, on a weekend trip, I don't exactly want to bring a heavy piece of luggage - a duffel is more my thing.) This is not a good option when you're going for a longer trip and need to pack compactly. It would have been nice of the shelves were a lighter color, as the shadows combined with the dark color sometime make items seem to disappear.

What a terrific concept, pack your clothes on these shelves, pop it into your suitcase, get to destination, and hang it up either in the closet or on the door, pretty much anywhere you can think of! I just received mine and had to give it a try. I packed 15 tops on the top shelf and 8 pairs of pants, shorts and capris on the bottom shelf. Put it into my 24 inch suitcase, and voila... Tons of room around the sides still for shoes, toiletries, and etc.
