Perfect for travel, and just for moving the Britax around!
*** UPDATE *** May 2012 - Used this on trip to UK - awesome, stuck at airport for 10 hours with broken plane, wheeled my sleepy daughter all over the place IN the car seat ON the trolley. Never once tipped up with her in it (possibly because she is 45 lbs!). VERY sturdy, not at all cheap like some people have suggested, my one is tubular black metal and strong. Was awesome for the plane too, wheeled seat through parts of the plane, then lifted over seat back while still on cart, removed cart at our seats, stowed it quickly and easily in the overhead compartment - checked first with flight attendants who said definitely put it in there as there was a dip and it settled nicely there, would only have come out during a crash I think (and we had some seriously horrible turbulence both ways, not pleasant at all!). So, my 5 star rating and all of the below comments still stand - only thing I might suggest, if you're gate checking, perhaps get the Britax wheeled bag so your car seat stays dry! I have to say that Britax car seats are far superior in my opinion to any other brand for safety alone - but also because they have a different tightening system for the LATCH system and can be moved in less than 10 minutes from car to car. The one thing I have against them is that they are so heavy, not that they are the only car seat that is heavy, they're not. So, when I saw this cart on the Britax website I thought I might as well try Amazon because they were bound to be cheaper and I was right. The cart arrived, well packaged and was super simple to open up and is very strong - it holds the car seat easily and even with a child riding in the seat, which when rushing through the airport is very handy, and my daughter weights 42 pounds. It folds up very small, so will fit in a car easily and into overhead bins on aircraft almost always (the smallest planes maybe not). This is the ONLY way to fly with your car seat - ours is usable on the plane for extra security and comfort for our daughter and even if we didn't we can gate check it easier this way - but if you're planning to gate check and not use the seat in flight, then I suggest wrapping the car seat in a clear plastic bag or something similar as they sometimes leave the gate check items out in the rain and a wet car seat makes for an unhappy child. All in all, would highly recommend this - we have the original britax Frontier seat and it is perfect for it - would also mention as an aside that if you have a Frontier with a damaged seat cover, call Britax, you might get a free one under warranty. Thanks Amazon - great deal, great item as always!

Great cart to travel with your Nina Exec on a Plane
This cart was a game changer. I used the cart to travel with my 2 year old through the airport. We have the Nuna Exec car seat and it was very easy to install on the cart. This cart allowed me to put my 2 year old in the car seat and maneuver through the airport with ease. The cart with the car seat fit down the airplane aisle with ease. This cart helped ease my nerves traveling solo with a toddler. I would recommend practicing installing and removing the car seat from the cart in a confined space to get comfortable with using it on the plane. I will say that when de boarding the plane, it can take a while trying to take your child out of their car seat, attaching the car seat to the cart and putting them back in. I would recommend sitting towards the back is the plane to allow yourself enough time to do this. Be prepared to be one of the last passengers off the plane. Also be prepared for a flight attendant to ask if the cart folds down etc. This cart is light weight, opens and collapses very easy and very sturdy. My toddler loved ridding around the airport with the cart and it truly made traveling with a car seat so much easier.

Easy to use, durable, portable, and a lifesaver for airline travel with my 2 1/2 year old!
Initially, I hesitated when buying this product based on the mixed reviews seen here on Amazon. I can 100% say for certain that I am absolutely happy that I went ahead and purchased this product. We have completed many flights with our young son, and as you are all probably aware once your child turns two you must purchase a seat for him/her. His first flight in his own seat was a struggle, we did not use a car seat and decided to try a harness instead. No bribe would even make him consider trying the harness, he hated it. So we settled for the plain old seatbelt, which I was not comfortable with because he really wasn't secure. The next problem with this situation is that he could not get comfortable enough to fall asleep, so he kept wanting to crawl in my lap or stand up in the seat and look out the window. Not good options. After some research, I decided to purchase this travel cart for our next and longer flight. My husband was very hesitant at first, and mainly because the car seat is so bulky (Britax Advocate70), and we weren't sure how he would react to the car seat as his seat on a plane. If he hated it and screamed like a banshee there were really no other options besides strap him in and try to distract him. So my husband and I worked through the logistics of using the travel cart and car seat. We made sure before hand that we knew how to attach the seat to the cart as well as how to fold up the cart and store it. Also of importance, be sure you know how to install your seat with the airplane buckle BEFORE your flight. We went through the car seat owners manual on installation and came armed with the manual as well as airline policy (just in case). I had read on other reviews that the Britax car seat would be too bulky to wheel down the aisle of an airplane and this is an absolute TRUTH. My husband had to lift the car seat above the other seats to get it down the aisle to our row. That I would say is the only downfall, but really there isn't a lot that fits nicely down the aisle of an airplane. So it is do-able, just a bit of a pain. As for going through security, at DIA we had issues getting the car seat through the x-ray machine, so they just hand-wanded it for us. On the way back, the TSA agent showed us how to position the car seat with the cart attached so it would fit through the scanner (lie it on the side, not on the back). All in all though, the travel cart was a HUGE success. My son *loved* being toted around the airport in his special seat, it was easy to maneuver (of course, no hairpin turns or precision driving but good lord folks it's a travel cart, not a BMW). So in reality, this design replaced our need for a stroller in the airport. We had zero issues of the car seat "falling off" the cart. Important tip here, tighten the latch straps down so the car seat is more stable. While getting on the plane, my husband would take off the cart once we arrived at our row. It took 3 seconds, and he folded it up in one movement and placed it in the overhead compartment. And the use of the car seat on the plane was extremely successful. My son was excited to get in the seat, hopped right in, let me buckle him up with no complaint, and was so happy because he could see out the window fairly easily now. And once the plane started moving, he was able to comfortably fall asleep. What a difference! I highly recommend this product if you are considering car seat use on a plane, it really simplified our travel experience!

LLego bien el carrito, para los que tenemos sillas de la marca Britax funciona bien por que las sillas traen unas muescas por la parte de abajo que sirven para que no resbale la silla de un lado a otro.

I was debating getting this for a while and I'm so glad that I did. I have now used it on several plane rides with my 2 year old with her Cosco scerena next convertible car seat. I will be purchasing another one for my second kiddo. Pros: very light. Makes it super easy to transport car seat in the airport. Folds up nice to put in over head storage. Can use it kind of like a stroller to strap your kiddo in and not having to bring a whole stroller AND a car seat. Cons: I found it difficult to get a good fit with the Cosco scerena next as it doesn't sit quite flat like other car seats do. It takes a bit of work but I can get it to fit on there decently, but hard. I might not have this problem with a different car seat, but I have not tested another one out yet. It is a bit hard to make sharper turns as it will tip. ETA: I have now tried it with the evenflo titan 65 and is also a bit difficult to secure nicely, but again, not a flat based car seat. Overall a great purchase and does make my life easier hauling around 2 kids under 2, bags and a car seat.

Even though it was expensive just worth it to transport our child's car seat. As our child is disabled it is good for sitting him in around the airport as it's safe and secure and our car seat is britax.

My grand baby is over 2 years old now so we had to buy a seat on the plane this year. We decided to bring her car seat on the plane for her to sit. she could look outside and sleep but also to avoid her trying to run around all the time ( make sure your car seat has the logo/ approved for airplane) car seats are awkward/big to move around on top of all your cabin luggages/bags and we decided to try this carrier. Pleasantly surprised how smooth the ride was and the perfect way to walk around the airport with the kid safely strapped in the car seat. Make sure to ask for a tag for it when you drop off your luggage. If you only have cabin luggages, still go to the drop off place to ask for your tag. You’ll need it on at security and when you board the plane. The first trip, we were able to put it in the overhead bin ( the agent said it was best to avoid breaking it ) but on our way back, the flight was full and we left it at the entrance of the plane with all the strollers. Really happy with my purchase.

Nos fue muy práctico en nuestro viaje, sobre todo porque rentamos auto y no tuvimos que pagar asiento para bebe.
