Adequate budget bad guys
I bought these because we are starting D&D Tomb of Annihilation and we need a ton of bad guys: skeletons, zombies and goblins. We’ll obviously need a lot more, but we’ll stick to these for now. These little guys were a steal at 8 pieces for $13. Here are my thoughts:1. They’re soft. They came slightly warped, even though they were packaged well (probably because of the heat). Many of them didn’t stand up straight, or their bases weren’t flat, etc. I dipped them into very hot water for a few seconds to soften, held them in the shape I wanted using tweezers and a popsicle stick, and then put them into ice water for a few seconds to harden. I had decent success with this, but some just refuse to stay straight and eventually go back to their tippy state. Most were corrected well enough for our use.2. They’re cheaply made, so be prepared to spend some time clipping and sanding away lines and tags caused by the molding process. Not a big deal, but important if you want your guys to look good. This process is always required when buying and painting your figures, if you want good results. Just be aware of it.3. Because they’re soft, they don’t hold paint really well. I even sprayed them with a primer before painting, and added a clear coat afterward. They’ve been used once or twice and they’re already rubbing off just a bit. I store them in a little craft container for beads, etc. so they’re not jumbled into a box or bag.4. They are a teeny bit big for D&D, but they’ll do just fine. I have included a picture of one of the guys next to true-to-scale 25/28mm figures: halfling, human and orc, so you can get an idea of their size.If you look at my pictures, you’ll see how some of the worst ones looked right out of the package, how they looked after straightening, including the lines and tags that need to be smoothed. Then pictures of them painted, and last, how they compare with other more expensive figures from Nolzur’s, Dark Sword, etc.All that aside, they’re still a great deal for a bunch of bad guys. If you don’t mind doing some prep work and taking a few steps to ensure success, you’ll get a great horde of guys to kill for a pretty cheap price. I bought zombies, skeletons and goblins and got 24 guys delivered for about $40. I probably spent somewhere between 3-5 hours on each set to get them how I wanted. You just can’t beat that. I would recommend them if you are willing to put in a bit of time to make them work. I gave them 4 stars because of their softness. If the material used was more rigid, they’d get 5 stars from me.

Good Value But Challenging
I purchased these minis because I need to have some generalized monsters for my gaming table and I wanted a handful that I could speed paint. So, 8 minis for such a low price certainly met my goal, but I had some challenges with painting. My miniature painting skills are certainly at the novice level, but let me take this one step at a time. My plan was to speed paint the set all at once using a minimum of colors. The plastic for these minis is very soft and flexibly, so it was very difficult to trim off the mold. I washed the minis first and let them dry and then started the removal process. In some cases, the detail was so rough it was difficult to tell which was an artifact to remove and which was intentional. I never quite got the clear edges I was going for (using a knife and file). The soft material made it more difficult to work with. I primed the minis with a gray spray primer and started to paint. A more skilled painter could have done more, but due to the lack of detail, I had a challenging time applying color in a way that ultimately looked nice. I tried using a wash to see if that would bring out any detail, but it just make things look dirty. I ended up only spending about 3 hrs on this set (it wasn't worth trying to polish) and they will serve the purpose I planned. My advice is to have low expectations because of the low level of detail on these figures.

Good enough for goblin work
A bit on the low detail side, and a couple of the models in my pack were awkwardly leaning backwards a bit. As a budget-concious way to build up a horde to throw at my DnD group, though, it gets the job done.

Small, meah.
They are ok. Smaller then I thought they would be. Not very detailed.

Decent
These don't take Rustoleum Matte Gray spray primer.I've washed these and the other models thoroughly beforehand and they remain tacky. Proper distance with the can as well. I coated the tacky ones with a spray poly so they could still be used.Great models and useful for the table.

Practical DND figures
Well packaged and sturdy figures.

Less bendy than the kobolds
Much better in sturdiness than the kobolds, probably because of their thicker figures. Pretty compact and I look forward to painting them.
