Good hand feel and weight
Love these sticks. Good hand feel and weight. My 12 year old used them on an electric drum kit and for percussion (snare) in his school band.

Very Happy
I started using these sticks after my drum teacher turned me onto them, and they just felt right instantly. Steve Gadd is arguably the greatest drummer ever, and it's easy to see why he chose to give his endorsement on these. Perfect weight and balance, very versatile, and hard to break. The specialized tip makes a bright, full sound on the bell, too. The black paint will start to wear off around the taper, but no big deal - doesn't affect the sound or feel. Great delivery, no issues. Happy playing!

Amazing find and worth every penny.
I couldn't believe that i found these stix. They are probably the longest pair i have ever used, and they have a great barrel shaped tip. Honestly i am going to buy two more pair just to have them. Totally worth it and they definitely help me mix up my dynamics and allow for a rich wealth of musical creation. And theyre really cool looking which is almost as important as their great functional quality. lol

Great, Surprisingly Durable Sticks
I played with these sticks a while back at a jam session with a couple of buds and the sticks were just lying around so I tried them out. That day, the sticks were completely bitten up and shredded and I still loved the weight and feel of them in my hand. If you are thinking of grabbing a pair of sticks that provide a very unique feel and balance while playing both harder and softer styles of music then the Steve Gadd sticks are for you. Please note that these sticks are wood tipped, and the other model with plastic tips, although probably fine, I have not played with. If I were you then I would definitely buy the wooden tips over the plastic because of the better initial cymbal sound that they create.

Not for everyone, but "almost" perfect for me!
Wow. Just wow. For years I used vic SD1. It's a big heavy stick and it's exactly what I needed to play the hard heavy stuff. Then I got decades older and the music I played was lighter, sometimes acoustic, sometimes small venues, and maybe more importantly, I wanted to feel the music not smash my way though it. So I opted for vics 5a and for awhile it was OK. Better than OK. But the stick didn't fit some of the songs we were playing. So I ordered a 7a. Oh I live 2 hours from the closest music store so I did trial and error with my friend, Mr Amazon. At first I hated the 7a. Felt like a baby stick in my hand. I marked up one 7a so they were mine. Tossed them in my Closet thinking never to be heard from or seen again. About a month later a new pair of hats showed up and I pulled out the 7a's to hear and feel the difference between 5a and 7a in the hats. The 7a won out. But the 7a still felt small in my hands. I got used to it though. Then I saw the gadd sticks and said let's give them a try. This stick is the absolute perfect stick for me. Longer than the 7a. A tad shorter than the 5a. More bulk than the 7a. Not much. In fact very little. But the stick feels a lot larger. And get this, the stick feels lighter than the 7a, but feels bigger than my 5a. Sure this might not make sense. But it does to me. The feel of this stick in my hand is wonderful. The absolute best. The sound off the hats and cymbals is superb. The rebound on these sticks blows the 5a away The one caveat, if it is one, if you cross stick, plan on the black paint chipping away. I crash with the tip of my stick but I have noticed how easily the plant flakes off when cross sticking. One more thing. If you like to see the VF flag to find the perfect rebound point, you don't want these sticks. The silver writing, with the flag, will disappear once you use the sticks. For me the flag and the bottom of the writing was gone after a 2 hour show. No biggie for me though. Otherwise I love this stick!!!

Simply the best sticks I have ever used
Simply the best sticks I have ever used. I shopped around a bit on drum sticks over a few years. Tried medium sticks (5a), heavier sticks (5B, Jason Bonham signature, Gavin Harrison signature), and lighter sticks (7a, 8d), and a few more than I played for such a short time that I don't even remember how to characterize them. Then I found the Gadd Signature a few years ago and I haven't looked back. The instinct is to play these lightly, and they work magnificently for that purpose. You can play a symphony on your ride with the dynamics, and your hands will fly around your kit with precision. But you can, surprisingly, also get some heavy hits without losing any of the response, which puts this stick in a league of it's own. If you listen to Gadd's drumming, you know he's a master of playing with groove and subtlety, but he's also great at blasting out heavy fills that give life and energy to songs. These sticks capture that juxtaposition, and so strike the perfect balance. I've recommended these many times, and I've yet to have a disappointed friend.

Great sticks husband approved
My husband really enjoys these sticks. Easy to hold and can take a beating. We have a digital kit and these sticks are smackin some metal occasionally and hold up strong 🤘

Love em!
Ideal sticks these are great , all I wanted was some black sticks to play with and I found some grip ones before buying these, I sent them back as they were awful , these on the other hand are excellent and I already have purchased a second pair , one for drum lessons and one for my electric kit ! As a beginner I didn’t know what to buy but I found these a good weight and not slippy , I love the fact they haven’t been tampered with in terms of silly mods we don’t need , just a nice stick with a stylish paint is perfect

No lo dudes
Mas lijero que la clasica 5A y mas pesada que las 7A, tamaño perfecto en mi opinion, realmente son unas excelentes baquetas.
