Ouija: The Most Dangerous Game

This book is much better than I thought it would be. For such a slim volume it was filled with a lot of factual information. This book did scare me and I ended up throwing it out in the trash. After reading the warnings about playing with Ouija boards I didn't want to tempt any fate. I know it sounds silly, but this book will scare you!

This book teaches alot more than expected. It makes you feel like your acually playing the board. If you believe in the board having the book is not much different. It's scarey. Freaky things started happening . I literally took it away from my home & disposed of it before i could finish reading it & within days things returned to normal. I'm not a superstitious person. I've said all this to say you would get your money's worth & a whole lot more.

This is a pretty good book. I believe the original version came out years ago, as this copy I recently purchased, appears slightly different than the one I purchased years ago. However, it still has the same basics of the original edition, and is still an interesting read.

This book is a fun and quick read. Very informative regarding the myths and truths of the Ouija Board. Also gives a birds eye view of the psychology behind this most interesting device. Would recommend for a fun read or for anyone curious about the Ouija board, it's history, and how it works.

I have never played the Ouija, nor do I intend to, but I know many people that have and had many questions. This book brings up plausible explanations in regards to "the force" moving the planchette and other phenomenon. I admired how Stoker Hunt included the point of view from the religion aspect and the science aspect. Fun summer read and I recommend to others wishing to challenge/change their ideas of this "most dangerous game."

I love reading stories written by the deluded who claim the Ouija board has real powers. The Ouija board is mass-produced and sold by Milton Bradley. I also really enjoy the correlation between belief in the Ouija board and terrible grammar... gems like, "Donot mok the Oija one tim I did and now their are warts on my leg. also my tiolet is stoped up. Be ware."It would be sad if it weren't so darn funny! How stupid can you be?

I bought this as a gift for a friend, she was happy to get it, so I presume good :), I was told you really need to get this book if you plan to use the board!

This book was really interesting, fun and fascinating read. I played with Ouija boards as a kid, and thought those boards were just a dumb game because nothing every happened....I guess I should be glad of it!

It seems Stoker has little experience, mentions one time he sat in on a session. May be of use to those early on in pursuit of understanding (having used Ouija over many years personally) it contains some truths and valid points and also some untruths which come from misunderstanding the nonphysical.

have yet to finish it but i really like it. shows both sides very well. it seems it is 100% stories of peoples experiences which im not over the moon about but i may be wrong as im not finished with it. still a great read all the same :)
