Everyone reaction are not the same
I have year round allergies. My cat allergy reaction was constant sneezing (sets of five - six in row) sinus pressure, headache, itchy watery burning eyes. (Yes they were red) Itchy throat, some coughing, wheezing. This review is based off a one week use. Allergens appear to be less strong. But I can still tell if i forgot to take an allergy pill. This was a constant spray use. I spray when we wake up, before going to bed and if I had time, in the middle of the day. It does leave spots on hard surfaces, but wipes away. I found out by mistake... while spraying the curtain some landed on my crescent table. Why someone would spray their counter top or dinner table is beyond me. Hard surfaces just needs to be wiped down. Not judging just saying.Would I buy again, maybe. I use so much of it now I'm debating. I'm no longer stuffy and itchy watery burning eyes have stopped. But sneezing, some irritated throat and runny nose is still an issue. **if I forget my allergy pill. A week after using this I changed my allergy pills. For that week my allergies remained the same except for the last two days were it seemed to cut down a bit. Not a big significance, sneezed less (went from sets of six to two or three) So for me those two coupled together, I'm no longer in misery.

Good allergen neutralizer.
Seems effective. We sprayed this around the hamsters cages when we realized my son was allergic. Ended up giving away the hamsters anyway as they just created too much dander. My sister swears this product helped her get over her cat allergies, which is why I bought this. She sprayed it around her cat's litter bowl and the door to her room and claims she eventually became immune to cat dander. She lived with seven cats after that! Voodoo? Maybe. Although she would not admit that, I am sure. ha ha. Seriously, though, the product works by neutralizing allergens - you'll want to spray it on areas where you want the allergens to go away, and you will have to reapply it when the allergens redeposit on that location (i.e., a place the dog likes to hang out regularly). I am skeptical that they would make your allergies go away too (Sorry, Sis!), although I suppose anything is possible. My son still has allergies lol.

It was the perfect solution for me
Seems to do the job. I have a rabbit that my husband is seriously allergic to. We figured this out well after he gave her to me as a sort of therapy animal to help cope with the loss of our baby. It was the perfect solution for me, not so much for him. I should rehome her obviously, but the emotional attachment for me is so strong that after 4 years with her, I'd lose my mind. So, I thought I'd try this to see if it helps. It seems to do the job fine. Kind of like back up to the regular cleaning schedule. I have only used it on furniture, linens and air. We keep an air purifier running (which I also purchased here on Amazon). I read reviews that mention leaving spots on hard surfaces, but honestly haven't sprayed it directly onto the hard floors. The smell is nice, too. It's clean and not overpowering at all. I will likely buy it again. It seems to be an effective addition to managing her shedding and making the common spaces that we share with her more comfortable for all. Now, if someone makes a spray that would magically make her less determined to eat my entire sofa, that'd be great. ;)

It worked for us!
We moved in to a rental that must have had cats previously. Cats are the only animal all 4 of us are allergic to. The landlord had the carpets cleaned days before we moved in (confirmed by me) and also after the last tenant moved out weeks before (not confirmed by me, but she had no reason to lie).We moved in, and immediately, we all got allergy symptoms. We were miserable for a week. I bought a bissell carpet cleaner and cleaned the carpets after we moved in, doing a pretreatment with odoban (in addition to dander, there were urine stains everywhere!) and using the bissell pet shampoo. We all felt a little bit better, but we still couldn't play on the floor with our kids without a sneeze attack.I bought this as a last resort. I was skeptical, but desperate to get my family feeling better. I sprayed it all over the carpet, including under beds, dressers, couch, etc. Within 12 hours, all of our allergy symptoms went away and haven't returned for weeks. No more sneezing, snotty kid noses, watery eyes, itchy throats, etc. It worked for us!

This worked! suggest through clean of the area before and during application within the first few weeks.
I am allergic to cats. I moved into a new home recently where the previous occupant had a cat. The carpets and everything were clean on move in, however I still had allergic reaction, especially in the bedroom. I had wiped down the walls, baseboards, re cleaned the carpets, cleaned lighting and fan fixtures. I bought 2 bottles and used an entire one within a week in my apartment mostly in the bedroom and I would open the windows to air it out before spraying. I redid sprays from the second bottle after each vacuuming on the floor for a couple of weeks and also did the air and around the baseboards. I noticed a difference within the first few days and now I still even have product left in the second bottle and it continues to work after buying this a few months ago, and now I have no allergic reaction. I was skeptical but this works! At least for me. Happy to have found it.

for best effect, so a good mist is fairly important
Yes it actually works! I have no doubt about it, breathing is much easier after a quick room spray. And yes, it actually does STOP working in a week to ten days tops. That too is quite noticeable. So a 10x25 room uses about 1/3rd of a bottle and the last 1/3 doesn't spray right (spits and spurts) so you need a new bottle every two weeks (and then combine the remainder of two bottles etc). You're supposed to spray it in the air, not pointed down at the carpet, for best effect, so a good mist is fairly important. It does make it to the floor after lingering in the air though, presumably capturing airborne allergens and pulling them down with it. Perhaps a higher quality spray bottle is the way to go.
