Selfie Stick, iOttie MiGo Extendable Monopod for Smartphones and GoPro Devices with Built-in Bluetooth Remote Shutter, Tripod Mount and Aluminum Tubing, White

TL;DR version: Product is very sturdy (much sturdier than similar Selfie Sticks that I have played around with that friends have owned), and I LOVE that you can unscrew the clamp-mount and attach a GoPro camera to it. This is the main reason I ordered it, and in this role it works great!Expanded detail: The product works great with both my GoPro and iPhone 6s. You can attach a GoPro (or compatible mount) by unscrewing the supplied clamp-style mount and screwing on the GoPro. This makes for a VERY secure connection. The clamp itself is also very strong, and my iPhone doesn't feel like it would go flying if I swung the stick too hard (something I can't say for competitors' products). I also love that there is a standard tripod mount on the bottom of the stick, so that I can get really creative about where I place my recording device.I am using a replacement unit from the manufacturer. The first unit I received didn't close flush, and the locking mechanism for extending the arm didn't feel very sturdy. The replacement unit doesn't have any of these problems, so I feel very happy about revising my original review. This company has great customer service (contacted me immediately about my earlier complaints, and shipped me a replacement within a day or so). Prior to this, I had already purchased three (3) of their excellent OneTouch car mounts for myself and my family. Given that I have received multiple, well-built products from them, I will certainly keep an eye out for additional products that they offer down the road.

Bought this selfie stick and was excited to receive it . I have an iottie car mount that is great and figured this product would be as good. The lower right mounting prong broke immediately when I attach my iPhone 6 Plus . It does hold the phone tight still but this is a design flaw in the fact that the prong is only plastic and very tiny and anybody could break it very easily with any phone style . It is not of the quality that I expected . The stick still holds my phone with three prongs but I expected a more solid product. Most everything else with the stick is of iottie quality.UPDATECustomer service contacted me ammedietly after I posted this review. They wanted to know more information that could help them and I wish that every company had this quality of customer service.

Hubs doesn't use a digital camera, so I have very few pics of myself since I'm always the one behind the lens. No more! After reviewing the seemingly thousands of selfie sticks, I settled on this one, and am SO glad I did. The build is super high quality. You can feel it, and you can see it. I love the way it easily pairs bluetoothly (don't look it up, it's not in the dictionary) with my Samsung Galaxy Note 3, and I got lucky that it fit in the clamps as my phone is BIG. The way the pole effortlessly telescopes up and down is genius, so it becomes a size that is easily tucked into my purse. This will be super fun to use on our upcoming motorcycle tours, and will also neatly tuck into our tour pack with everything we use on the road that needs to be quickly accessible. I love the sleek design, and I'll say it again... even though I have nothing to compare it to, this is one SWEET, high quality goodie. If you're looking for a selfie monopod, this MUST be the one!

I ordered one in December of 2015 - I loved it! Very well made, worked great, very impressed. It quit in October of 2016. I figured it was out of warranty, so I just ordered a new one - it came, but it was VERY difficult to sync and when it finally did, (that initial time) it would never sync up again. So I'd hike up to my usual place and it would not take a pic on my phone. I sent it back to Amazon.com and then sent me another one - IT DID NOT sync up... Called Amazon.com and they suggested a buy another one, but from a different seller thru Amazon.com (?? Not sure why that would be different?) It did NOT work.I believed it could be from my ios10 update on my phone. I emailed iOttie and told them this. About 5 days later they emailed me back and said my phone update should NOT be an issue and to send them my receipt and they'd replace it. I emailed them right back (about 3 days ago) and told them I did not have the receipt but could print all my orders from Amazon.com showing the purchases of a total of 4 of these now... but I've yet to hear back.I REALLY liked my first one, much better from another brand I had been using (it worked, but was flimsy and the shutter button would always fall out of the holder)I have now ordered a DIFFERENT brand that says right in their description that it will work with the new ios10 iPhone update, which tells me that my problems with the iOttie could very well be the phone update???

I never thought I'd love having a selfie stick, but I love this thing! We were in a small wedding in Puerto Rico recently and we were able to get a photo of the whole wedding party and the guests (28 people) without any issues! The fact that it's bluetooth makes it much more convenient because it can extend so much farther than other selfie sticks I've seen. It works very well for getting group photos, crowd photos at events, and we were able to get a great one with both of our dogs!

Love iOttie, I have bought their dash holders in the past and they make good stuff. This selfie stick it's ok, would've expect and awesome product but it's ok. First, my phone sometimes just falls off the cradle I guess cause it's too heavy, I have the iPhone 6s Plus with a light clear case, second the stick doesn't connect right away when I turn it on, I have to go thru the pairing again so many times to reconnect it and it's every time I turn it back on. I thought Bluetooth stick made life easier but I guess the wired stick would be better than his one.

I was skeptical about buying this because of all of the reviews being "unbiased paid" reviews which always raises a flag for me; however the reviews proved accurate and the product is easily the best selfie stick I have seen and used. The build quality is fantastic and even the packaging was nice (bringing to mind faux-apple aesthetics). It does not have the separate remote that so many rave about, but from my time with the stick, using the button has literally no drawbacks since you have to hold the stick anyway (making a separate remote seem more like unwanted and unwarranted extra baggage). So, to conclude, yes I recommend this product and no I did not receive a "free sample". I just bought this on a whim as a Christmas gift and it proved out to be a great investment. It's uses go beyond the basic selfie since you can capture great family/group photos or even pictures featuring more of the landscape behind you.

Sturdy selfie stick that feels durable when extending and retracting. Nice and compact, though a bit on the heavier side (however I rather it be heavier and more durable than to be lighter and more vulnerable to breaking/damage). The Bluetooth button is a useful feature, and I really appreciate how you can take the phone holster off in order to attach an action camera. This makes the MiGo more than just a selfie stick enabling it to shadow as a monopod as well. My only complaint is I wish they attached a wrist secure piece to the included rope which is intended to be attached through the small loop at the bottom of the MiGo stick. The lack of a wrist secure piece makes it so that it is easy for the MiGo stick to fall from your wrist due to how wide the rope diameter is when wrapped around your wrist. Further, based on the pictures included in the product ad, I thought that a mini tripod came with the MiGo stick (initially believed there was an exposable compartment where there was a stored portable tripod stand), however it appears the bottom of the MiGo is made so that attaching a tripod is just a possibility, not an included feature.
