ChumsSwitchback Eyewear Retainer - Lightweight Silicone Sunglasses Strap

Who buys this kind of product without wanting a way to tighten them in back so your glasses stay in place? Not me. I thought I was getting that feature when I bought these "Eyewear retainers."I see in the description it doesn't specifically claim that it holds the glasses snug. If that's what you are looking for, these are not that. It doesn't help the amazon shows in the 'Similar products' carousel products that DO have that feature.Since I still needed to buy what I originally sought, I bought a different pair. that did have the feature Turns out these, however, are not returnable -- making me even more unhappy about this purchase.I suggest manufacturer or reseller clarify that these are like librarian glasses holder that do nothing to hold your glasses snug while you wear them.

Bought these for my new Costa Permit sunglasses. One major factor that I like about these over other straps is that they angle down where they connection to the glasses. This helps to avoid the strap messing with my hat and having to be readjusted all the time.

Great product. I don't use it for outdoor activities necessarily but rather to quickly move from reading glasses to farsight quickly. They are very comfortable and snug fitting and beat any other kind of eyeglass holder.

I wear glasses all the time but hot-humid weather and sweaty-oily face are bad combination. Got this Switchback Retainer to keep my glasses from slipping off my nose to work on whatever I'm working on without having to constantly adjust my glasses. It is longer than I expected and I fixed (tied) it with small elastic band. The part that touches behind my ear is not uncomfortable as expected and I forget that I have my glasses on. No more sliding glasses, no more pushing my glasses up on my nose bridge. I even used it many times on the beach and accidentally went swimming with it. I don't have to worry about my glasses falling off while working out, boating or anything that involves impact or speed.

I was sad to find out that the braded chums we liked were no longer able to be found (well at least on Amazon or in stores) so I tried these and LOVE them! I will be anxious to see how they hold up but they do not get stuck in my hair, I have a read problem with that when I used the braded ones. Those are great, and I will purchase again!

I bought these to use on sunglasses with small temple ends. Small opening is still abit large, large opening works fine for larger temple ends. but still seems to work okay. Nice that you can move them to other pairs with larger temple ends.

I use these to retain my Oakley's , they have two openings the hold both my pair of half jackets and a smaller one that I use for my pair of square wires. They hold well are sweat resistant and comfortable and can be cleaned.

This product is life-threatening! While the tubular cloth Chums are extremely flexible, this elastomeric plastic Chums has more than enough stiffness near its ends to push one’s glasses forward. I found that when driving while wearing a hooded jacket with hood down, the hood frequently pushed the Chums substantially forward, which then pushed my prescription glasses forward and seriously out of focus.
