Saag's Landjaeger 8 pack 2 Ounce Sticks Swiss Jerky

Very simply ....I go to the gym 3 times a week for over 2.5 hrs.....when I come home I head for the whey protein shake but whenever I have the Saag's landjaeger around ,I ignore the shake and go for the meat .....then I find myself returning for another stick ,and I am realizing this stuff is definitely habit forming !!.....I will try to resist reordering ,but I know I will fail !! ....

Used to buy these at a deli in town but they quit carrying them. The ones i received from Amazon tasted really bad, we threw them away. Too bad, i used to really love these things.

The Landjaeger itself is normally really quite good. But ordering it is risky. Of the three packs I ordered, one package had had its vacuum seal fail and it arrived unsuitable for eating. It says right on the package that it requires refrigeration after opening yet they're willing to send out packages with obvious flaws and oxidation. I've had some that had started turning dark from the deli and they can still taste fine, but these were black, salt had crystalized on the surface, and the taste was bad enough I threw it out.It's too bad - I'd just about mainline these if I could be assured of quality.

I've ordered this brand of landjaeger before and it was very good.. unfortunately this time it arrived somewhat old and definitely not as fresh as it was previous times.. it had to be thrown out.. kind of disappointing considering the cost..

Perfect and tasty. Not the exact I'm used to a child however I also did not buy these from the same Metzger. I order these all the time and love them in their own special way.

Tastes like cardboard.

The smoke flavor is more like a salami than I am accustomed to with landjeager.Texture is nice but for me, just not the flavor I was looking for.

Dry and a flavor I did not like. Even my dog would not eat it.
