Precision Pet Kitty Condo with Plastic Base

Although having to cage one of my cats was not an easy decision but since she was getting beat up so bad by the other 2 cats and the vet bills and stress of pet messes was becoming to much to handle caging was the only option. I only cage her when I am not home or not in the house for long periods of time. The cage has been a godsend. She has taken to it very well. It was a little hard to put together by myself. I think had I had someone else to help I would have had it together in 20 minutes vs the 45 minutes it took me. I did use cable ties to hold areas together I felt where the hooks were not secure. It is very sturdy and large enough of for my little 9 lb cat. There is no rattle or nose and the shelves seem sturdy for her weight. I also purchased the corner litter box, and I would not reccomend this box for the cage. You cannot get the box in and out of the cage doors and it is a little to big for this cage. All in all, this product has met all my expectations and I would recommend this product to anyone who needs to cage a small cat for short periods of time.

Overall, this product is as advertised. The only problem was that one of the ads for it cited it being 48 inches long and 36 inches tall (which would have allowed much more "floor space" for my cat). However, it is 36 inches long and 48 inches tall. Set up was easy and quick. The bottom could attach a bit more solidly, but it's not bad. The seller was great. The product was slated for second-day shipment, but I actually received it the next day after ordering! Since I have a semi-feral wild cat that lives in a large backyard cage and I needed to bring her inside because of several days of hard freezes, the early arrival worked out perfectly. I did add a couple of snaps to reinforce the bar slats that latch the cage doors (my semi-feral cat doesn't like small enclosures), but I think the doors probably would have held without that. In all, I'm pleased with the purchase and am glad to have a permanent indoor area for the cat when I have to bring her indoors.

My Lily loves her cage. I bought it to integrate her with my other cats. They could sniff, give each other the stank eye, hiss and growl with no major drama. When they finished showboating, I let her out and she checked out the house, slept behind an armchair and then bolted back into the cage when someone knocked on the front door. After a few days, she settled down and goes back into her cage to eat and use the facilities and crawls up on her perch and sleeps through the night.I would have given this product 5 stars, but I had a heck of a time assembling it by myself; it went left when I went right, but eventually I won the battle. I also secured the corners with plastic wire ties so it doesn't wobble.

To me, this cage seems unstable, but I'm sure all cage this size are like that. I'm just scare that when my kitten climbs on this cage, it might fall down. I tied a string around every corner just to make sure it wont collapse. And what I'm really unsatisfied with is that rolling casters that comes with a cage! It does not set securely under the cage. It comes off easily when I move the cage, and when I tried to put that one caster back in another one comes off. It's very annoying.Edit:2 star to 4. Its been 3 years and its holding out well. now 12lb cat, and he can still climb on top of it, walk on it just fine. easy to clean. not 5 because it still will not secure at the bottom. its heavy so my cat wont try to lift it, but still good to be able to securely lock

Cage is quite nice, but the ends did not fit properly in the clips to connect the top cage portion to the bottom. The sides were about 1/2 inches longer than the front and back. I ended up using twist ties on the sides to be sure they stayed together as the little hooks did not secure tightly and were not welded very well. One broke off when I was putting the cage together. I ended up running a string through the sides and securing it under the bottom to keep the top and bottom together. When the two "teenage" kittens I am using it for get excited and start jumping from the shelves to hang on the sides of the cage it would act like it was going to come apart since the clips did not work. The cats do like it though and love having the soft covered shelves to lay on and watch from. The drop down doors take a bit of getting used to. The delivery by Petco was very quick, faster than indicated when ordered. Also, cage is best put together by 2 people, very clumsy to handle with just one person.

We bought this in order to have a safe place to put our cats when our house is being viewed by potential buyers and it has worked perfectly. There is room for two cats and a small litter box. It would be roomier if one of the girls would perch on either one of the two kitty shelves that come with the unit, but they're freaked about being jailed and huddle next to each other on the floor of the cage. The unit went together easily and quickly with no tools. It roles fairly well on the included casters and it is easy for two people to carry with the cats in it. The rings that hold the walls together need to be repositioned if it is jostled too much, but it holds together well when moved. So far very good. It beats the heck out of having to board them for each appointment.

So i got this for a stay i took in who had kittens. (With 3 kids in the home all under the age of 6 it was the only way i could keep mama kitty from hidding them in the craw spaces in my home) set up wasnt to hard but it would have been a lot easyer and faster if i had a 2nd person to help ( if you have never had to set hp cages like this i would Deffenitly have a 2nd person). Space wise isnt to bad it fits purfect into my computer room. And i like the wheels as well because i can move it ti vacuum. Down side is i have had issues with the shelf staying in place and have had the momma kitty knock them down 2 times since i put it up.
