Bought this atv used and noticed the air filter had never been changed in 7 years after installing this k&n filter the engine response improved dramatically and no need to keep buying air filters! I love it

Perfect fit for my 98 sportsman 500. Make sure to have the air filter oil, I already had some from the air filter on my truck. Sold on amazon or your local parts store. If using on an off-road vehicle, might want to also get the pre-filter bag to keep dust out. My air box was sort of dirty to begin with and the oil attracted a lot of dust. Good thing its washable!

Your initial cost for the K&N Filter will be more than the stock filter but it does not take long to recoup your cost and actually start saving money by not replacing the stock filter as needed. It is very easy to remove, clean and condition as needed. As far as performance I have not paid much attention to that aspect as the two reasons stated above are enough to sell me. If it improves performance, efficiency and longevity then that's a bonus.

The part was exactly what my son was looking for . He was happy with the price and product. He had no issues installing the part, his only complaint was how long delivery took.

You can't go wrong with K and N filters. So easy to clean, oil, and use. Just make sure you selected the right vehicle and then hit ADD TO CART. You will not regret it.

This is a fine replacement for the stock throw away Polaris filters. It comes pre-oiled and ready to use in a sealed bag but you will still need to use you fabric pre-filter sleeve so wash it first and it will fit fine on the K&N. I use the ZEP comercial industral PURPLE concentrate cleaner found at The Homedepot ($10 for a gallon!) dilute it as recommended on the bottle and place it in a spray bottle for cleaning, this way I can use as much as I want and wash and rinse it until I get it ultra clean without busting the bank. I use the K&N spray filter oil (below) and spray two ribs at a time from 4 or so inches away, anymore and you've over oiled your filter and its going to be a drippy mess. I let it sit overnight to let the oil set up before a put the prefilter on and put them in the bike.Here is the K&N oil: K&N 99-0516 Air Filter Oil - 12.25oz - Aerosol

I have been using K&N filters in my SUV for about a year now and I can definitely notice a difference in performance, fuel economy and engine noise. Die Hülle ist hervorragend in Verbindung mit dem Filter PL-1003. Er verändert das Luft- Kraftstoffgemisch gar nicht und sorgt trotzdem dafür, dass der Filter nicht mehr so schnell verschmutzt. Er ist ordentlich verarbeitet und läßt sich sehr leicht reinigen. Er ist außerdem sehr schnell wieder getrocknet und kann dann wieder eingesetzt werden.
