I recently used this hose filter to fill my hot tub, and I am extremely impressed with the results. Living with well water, I was concerned about potential impurities affecting the water quality, but this filter exceeded my expectations.The installation was simple and hassle-free. Have been using these for years. They usually last about two months and do a great job. When the flow starts to slow down I replace them. I have had others last longer but these work we’ll fight to the end. I have one on my hose also. When washing my car the water spots are minimal. I use bottled water for drinking and coffee but for everything else these definitely work the best of all the filters I tried in the past.

Used this to fill my intex 10x20 pool which holds about 1k gallons of water. Pool filled up in about 2.5 hours and the filter pulled out so many contaminants while filling that getting my pool chemistry correct was a breeze. I find myself using it while washing my cars as well, leaves less water stains on the windows. Do Not fill your pool without one, you will have wasted far more money that the price for this. Does take a long time to dry out however.

This filter seems to really work well. I was filling a 5000 gallon pool and used two of these filters to fill half of it. The flowrate dropped substantially over time. I did notice some build up in the pre-filter, so maybe my well water is quite dirty. I would buy this again for a different application, but for filling a pool I would rather fill straight from my well and then filter the water with a nice sand filter pool pump afterwards.

So simple to use and affordable. I just dispose after each trip. Makes water taste as good as home.

These filters protect more than other brands and hold up very well during normal wear and tear. I do advise anyone using these outdoors to not leave them connected during freezing weather. I use quick connectors on these so I can easy add and remove them as weather changes. They will crack and make a mess if left in freezing conditions, so please be warned.

Product was very easy to install. Works well when hooked up to spigot. In my case, linked into hose reel cart since the spigot doesn’t have much clearance. Works without leaking and filters water with consistent water flow.

I bought a pair of these to fill my 30k gallon pool from dry. I normally have issues with cloudiness when filling the pool due to the hard well water, but it filled perfectly clear with these, very happy with the purchase. I did try tasting the water coming out, and while it still had a metallic taste, it wasn't nearly as bad as what comes out of my well without a filter. I've used both filters well past their volume rating and they still seem to work fine.
