Does not fit and is a waste of money
At first sight the connector looks like the real thing. However, when you try to connect to the trailer you realise that the coating of the connector is too thick and it won't allow to slide into the trailer. If you then scratch of a layer of the coating and ad some lubricant it will slide in, but you will then find out that the holes to insert the security pin are not lining up with the trailer! There is nothing more you can do to fix this problem. That's it. It's a total loss and waste of money!!!

Did not work, even after some work on it
The item did not work as expected. A friend got the same model and it works perfectly, so I ordered this with express delivery because needed for today. It arrived as expected, but when tried to attach trailer it got stuck halfway through. Took quite a while to get it loose, but managed it (it scratched the paint, so I thought that might be the problem). Used sandpaper in order to remove the thick black paint, and after 30+ minutes finally managed to get in/out without a problem. BUT then the holes did not align (with my friends' one it works like a charm), not even after several tries. Ended up tired and frustrated after 1 hour. Returning the item, hopefully, will get my money back.

Universal but doesn't fit without adjustment
I ordered this bracket as I recently bought a dog trailer that was supplied without one, as this was supposed to be universal and the measurements matched up with my trailer I bought with high hopes. On arrival I tried to fit the bar into the fitting on the trailer but it was far too tight, even with some WD40 and elbow grease! So the first job was to sand the paint off the barrel to allow it to fit (albeit still snug), once fitted it became apparent that the hole in the adaptor did not line up with the holes on the trailer mount as it was offset by around 3mm and was also not central. So the second job was to re-drill the hole, initially I had tried to lengthen the hole with no luck, so instead drilled a 7mm and then 8mm hole using metal drill bits. After around an hour of adjusting the bracket it now fits and works as desired (see photo), I do also need to worry about rust on the exposed barrel of the adaptor. At a cost of nearly £8 it is very expensive and most wont be able to adjust this to fit.
