ROCCAT KOVA AIMOSince wireless mice are often not recognized or functioning correctly when one has to boot into the computer's BIOS, Recovery Mode or Safe Mode, I was looking for a cabled mouse that could also be used with the left hand, in order to have more flexibility if the arrangement of the desk requires to place it on the left instead of the right side of the keyboard.As an extra to serious work, the mouse is perfectly suited to play games, because unlike most products, the many buttons can be programmed symmetrically for the left hand if so desired. While on paper, the resolution looks less than the overkill others offer for marketing purposes, it is more than high enough for precise aiming and quick reactions. As for the hardware or its use under the MS Windows operating system, this mouse leaves nothing to be desired.The only shortcoming is that since having been taken over by Turtle Beach, the company does not provide any drivers or programming software for other operating systems other than Microsoft Windows. There are, however, community efforts to remedy this flaw.In a previous attempt to help fellow customers out, I included links to drivers and tools that are suitable to get mice to work under operating systems other than MS Windows, but Amazon's censors do not distinguish between helpful content and promotional links, so you will have to look for them yourself, sorry. Best gaming mouse I've ever used. The idea to have the two "wing" buttons is something that all gaming mice should have.5/5 would buy again. In fact I've bought two extras just in case.

I really liked the mouse, but it started double clicking every click so I reordered a new one of the same model. It lasted 8 months of light use before it started double clicking too. If they ever put better switches in these things I'll buy another one, but until then I'm done with ROCCAT.

This mouse is the best I have ever owned for a few reasons. First, I am a lefty, yet regardless I prefer symmetrical devices.What places this mouse in its own league is the design overall, which is German, however specifically the buttons are unmatched. Nearly every other competitor you'll find has much smaller, less intuitive button size and placement. The six side buttons are easily accessible and tactic. You do not need a magnifying glass to see the buttons, nor required to be overly precise just to operate it without misfiring. This unit easily matches the grid-style of gaming mice in control and functionality.The design package is rounded out by the excellent software Roccat pairs with it. The unit is fully customizable for your gaming needs with numerous profiles that are stored locally on the devices on-board storage.Oh, did I mention the lighting is excellent? Roccat's proprietary apps uses your physical inputs and the video steam to determine its color shifting and intensity.

I love ambidextrous mice. They are the only mouse types that give you buttons to press with your pinky and ring fingers, for some reason. Its so hard to get them though. I love this Roccat but its not perfect. The design is great, the looks and feel, great. The software is top notch, I love the software. However the Lefthandy extra buttons are both double clicking on me. The right mouse button and main right second button both work find but the other two extras on that side, the further ones up to the top right are the two buttons that double click. None of the left side buttons have this problem. Its not so critical that I feel the need to abuse it to much in the reviews but it does get to be an issue sometimes. But everything else about the mouse does make up for it a bit. I cant say for sure I would buy it again though. I may spend more money getting another brand next time. Theres really no reason for these buttons to be doing this, we have had mouse buttons for 30 years and these things should have been sorted out by now.Middle mouse button only half works now. You have to press hard on it to get it to work. Bought a new mouse as a result. Its a pity, I really liked the design and the software but the quality is severely lacking.

The mouse itself is fine and has a good feel. I have been playing with it and it works well. I can't change the colors on it that well though. I have to click the left back button and the dpi change button in order to change color which is a very poor design. I went on to the Roccat website and downloaded their program for their products. Their program took 3 hours to download and was a pain in the ass to use. I tried updating the software on it to no avail, after 5 hours of downloading I got mad and uninstalled the program. I don't know if this is on my end or not but I am not that happy.

I love this mouse, as a lefty its hard to find a mouse with extra buttons, software isn't amazing but with the mouse having memory set it and forget it, I haven't even had the software running in ages. It arrived in a small box. Nothing really to it, a book and the mouse itself! There is practically no setup and can simply be plugged in and used. The program you can use to tune the mouse is Roccat Swarm, which is super simple to use! The mouse is medium weight, maybe on the lighter side if anything, and glides across a mouse-mat very well! I play low-sensitivity and lightweight mice are a MUST for it.The build quality is amazing! Its smooth to touch and comfortable to hold! You can customise the lighting and there are SO MANY buttons to configure!All-round 10/10 mouse and a fantastic price tag to go with it. That's German Engineering for you...

Good price and nice amount of buttons, especially for gamers. I just hope Roccat keep making and updating this mouse. It's fantastic. I do go through them every 2-3 years, but at the price it's far more cost effective than getting say a Razer Naga, which costs twice as much and last the same amount of time, or less.Roccat don't let me down with this mouse series.
