Q: How will the ice holdup in the ice bin if installed under counter in a covered outdoor bar in south Alabama?

The ice in the bottom of the bin will melt, slowly. But the system makes ice so fast that it should not be an issue. The icemaker cycles in about 15 minutes. The bin will hold 25 lbs. I leave the icemaker running all the time, so it is always full. The instructions talk about using the built in timer. Note worth it for me. It shuts down when full.
