Skullcandy 50/50 (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

i ordered the black/gold ear buds they came in sooner than expected and i'm California , the mic works on pretty much everything but i see some people complaining about the volume buttons .. Yes the buttons work for the volume but only on an Apple products as they are intended for the iphones / ipad / ipod .the case is really helpful especially since i get tired of hearing music whenever i am out and i don't like to wrap my earphones in a bundle and shove them in my pocket , with the case i just put them in there and either have it in my jacket pocket or backpack . The EQ levels that i had set on my ipod made the earphones sound weird at first but i realized that i just had to change them and now they sound even better .

Skullcandy makes the best overprice ear-buds on the market. I love the look and feel of these however there are a few problems. The drawcord for these buds are made of cloth. This "cloth" texture really transmits any sound rubbing against it. If your walk or runn you can get this extra noise from the cord. The cloth texture I found will also bind itself, it causes the cord to kink and once it kinks you can't straighten it out again. Granting that I choose the gold ear-buds, I found that style sometimes triumphs over quality. If you can look past these to little things you will see a good product that will give you lots of great sound.

I've used many earphones/headphones in my day but heck, the 50/50s definitely beats them all. For my iTouch, they provide the best bass on an earphone I've ever heard. Honestly beats out Beats by Dre in the bass department. Being around the $30 price range is definitely a steal. These headphones lasted the longest and could have lasted longer if it weren't for my super rough use. I've used to Rasta ones, amazing bass. The Shoe Blue with its cloth cable, super durable. Not like those overpriced terrible Apple Headphones. When you get the 50/50s, you won't regret it

These headphones are really good and they block outside noises very well.. Almost too well so be cautious listening to loud music in a parking lot or crossing the street. The gold is really nice as well they have a good reflection to them. I recommend these headphones to anyone.

As soon as I opened the package I knew something was off. Packaging looked a little scuffed up and upon opening the package, I noticed that the cord was not braided nylon like it shows in the picture and says on the package. Instead the cord is a flat elastic like cord and the casing of the earbuds is made of plastic. Earbuds feel and look like a cheap knock off you would buy overseas. Sound is just like any other pair of earbuds, nothing special.

We bought this for our son. He treats his electronics with care, but in less than one month, one of the ear pieces split in two. From the looks of it it was two pieces glued together, but this one looks like there wasn't a lot of glue holding it together. Seems like for a pricey pair of headphones, they would be a little better built.

The volume control switches do not work on non-Apple products. The device package says "for iPad, iPod and iPhone" This information was not given on Amazon product web page.I returned the product.

The sound quality is pretty good for the cost, but unfortunately after less than 8 months of owning them, they now only work through one ear, the only way to get the sound out of the other is to play with the wire close to the jack that attaches to the device. These phones have not been misused in anyway It just seems that the flimsy nature of the wire has caused this problem. I have a pair of Aviator phones for use at home and they have a braided wire and are still going strong after lots of use.For this type of earphone I will find a more reliable make.

I just bought this headset for a month, from the start the line was crinkly and curled and now its breaking up in places with the inner white line coming out. Its seems to be bad quality for that price

Ich habe die Kopfhörer zu einem Guten Preiss bekommen und der Klang so wie der Bass sind ok.Sie sitzen auch gut und fall nicht ab..Hab sie beim Joggen jedoch noch nicht getestet..
