Holographic Silver Glitter Paint Additive 200g (7oz) with 2 x Buffing Pads | Sparkle Glitter for Wall Paint, Interior Exterior, Paint Additive - v1rtus

I bought this product because I couldn’t find Valspar glitter additive like I’ve used in the past. I will say it was definitely a try as it did not disappoint. The directions say to use 1 pack of glitter per gallon of pain, however I did something a little different because I have worked with glitter in the past on this same room. I did 2 packs in my first THIN COAT, and it was a little shimmer. The SECOND COAT, I used 2 1/2 packs as I had some left over. NOW, 2 1/2 packs to one gallon of paint gave a beautiful subtle glitter wall. It wasn’t overwhelming nor was it not obvious. I will say have the correct lighting also adds to a proper glitter wall. I have LED lighting and a cool blue light so it work’s perfectly. I used a Behr paint called Swirling Water which is a subtle cross between baby blue and periwinkle, talk about gorgeous! My previous glitter project was white walls with the glitter and they both came to fruition flawlessly. I did not buff the walls like it says to do but I can only imagine what it would look like if I did. It is definitely worth the money for sure just make sure you have enough you’re not satisfied with your first coat. Use both packs for the initial coat, don’t use one as it will not come out like you think. I tried adding a picture but it doesn’t show up on camera like it does in person. Once I can figure it out I’ll come back and add one.

We bought it to add to our daughter's room paint. We decided to use it in the gray paint for all of her trim and it took both of the packages for the half gallon we used. It took a while to stir in the glitter so that it would spread evenly when I applied the paint. It went on great! After it dried, you could see the silver glitter shining in the sunlight and it wasn't overpowering. Very subtle and classy.. Our 4 yr old loves it and so if she's happy, I'm happy :)

I used one bag in a1/3 gallon behr premium eggshell. I applied over a base coat with 4 inch whizz foam roller. Stired with whisk in can. Paint was almost too much sparkle. I dare not use the scrubbers. I only needed one bag and bought 2. I don't know how people are using this and not getting sparkle. Maybe high gloss wouldn't work well? Anyway, there's a reason this is ther best sparkle additive on the market. It's not tacky and you can control the amount of sparkle. 100 percent pleased.

Product was easy to use and turned out cute. Make sure to use the buffing pads after it dries to make the sparkle show up more. I did feel like using 4 packets $50 worth was kind of expensive for one small bedroom.

Absolutely love this stuff.. I've bought it several times..I add one packet to a whole small can of clear paint and stir it slowly..then paint it over the original paint color..for maximum sparkle

So cool! I used 2 bags in 1 gallon of paint for my daughters room. Mix the glitter in slowly and you shouldn’t have any issues with it clumping. I included a photo of my wall before and after using the buffing pad. It definitely pulls out the glitter, but it’s still quite noticeable before using it. My daughter loved it when she saw it and now we can’t wait to put the rest do the room together!

I could not see the glitter on the wall. I had one quart of paint and two packages of the glitter.

Super produit. Super effet. Je n'ai mis que la moitié d'un paquet de 200 grammes (a l'aveugle dans un bac a peinture basic) et le rendu est top. Et beaucoup moins que chez certaines enseignes connues.

I mixed my own grey paint using some behr base white paint and some aura grey I had that was too dark. Painted a patch on my wall. I came across this stuff on Amazon and figured I'd give it a shot because I really liked it but didn't want anything TOO glittery.. so I ordered the 2 pack of holographic silver glitter paint additive with buffing pads and decided to pour just a Bit into my grey paint sample I'd made. I have to say.. wow! At first it sort of looked like it disappeared into the paint but when the light hit it as I stirred I could see some glitter still. I painted over the previous patch of grey and was IN LOVE with the result. It dried even and I didn't even need the buffing pads to see the shine! Just light. I recommend maybe doing a base coat without the glitter and then just doing a top coat with the same paint & glitter to maybe make up for any patchyness people spoke of in previous reviews? Because I had zero issue with that once dried. Tho it does get a bit tacky as it dries fairly fast! So be careful if you use a roller that you don't go over areas you've already done that are now half dry. Either do a base coat with no glitter. Or do two coats With glitter and wait for complete drying between paintings to ensure you don't start lifting the paint! Will update with better video once I do the actual entire washroom and have a proper light fixture installed.

La resa è ottima, si miscela perfettamente con il colore, io ho usato questi “brillantini” con un colore nero per pitturare una stanzina di 14 metri quadri, ho utilizzato una confezione da 100gr per un barattolo di 0,75 l’effetto è bellissimo sia dando il prodotto con pennello che con rullo. Sicuramente acquisterò ancora da questo rivenditore!!
